A cosy yet vibrant village cafe, offering a selection of baked treats, lovely lunches and proper Italian coffee. The ideal setting to meet, laugh and relax!
What a great find! Delightful cafe with lots of fresh bakes on display and a good choice of brunch & lunch options. They also do afternoon tea by prior booking. Itâs very nicely set out with several small rooms including a garden room and a small garden area. Thereâs a variety of seating options - armchairs with coffee tables, a big table, bistro tables & chairs in the garden and a couple of small tables with built in bench seating. The decor is lovely with artwork for sale. Dogs are welcome and walkers too. Weâve been twice in a week! Thank you for your detailed review! I feel you really captured what we're all about. You should do PR for us! :-)Thanks again, Hopefully see you soonKind regardsStuart

While doing our countryside walk with friends, we stopped by Odd John's Kitchen for coffee and something to eat, staff were cheerful and polite, sat outside to enjoy the sunshine. The scones were large, would have preferred to be asked whether I want the scone warmed, served with butter and jam, plus the cappuccino was good.Would recommend.

An excellent small coffee shop run by an efficient team who seem to take pride in serving quality coffee and snacks in a friendly way. They keep the cafe spotless.
I've been to several of the Peppercorns cafes and this newest one lives within the newly built Mountsorrel Memorial Centre. The opening hours are very good. I would recommend you visit if you have never been and sample their fayre. There is plenty of parking within the Memorial Centre car park.

Popped in last Thursday for coffee, but ended up having toasties and fries. Cheese and onion toasties were lovely and cooked just right. The fries were tasty and plenty for both of us. Staff were very pleasant and the tables were clean. Will definitely visit again.

If you want a cup of coffee and a tea cake, full breakfast or a lovely meal this is the place to visit. Excellent food and friendly service nothing is too much trouble the only problem you may have is getting a table at busier times but it is worth the wait. If you are a small eater it may be worth mentioning because the portions are not little!

A Tea Room with a twist! Sit back and relax in our light and airy vintage themed Tea Room, enjoy our renowned Afternoon Teas or try our toasties, paninis or maybe just enjoy a spot of tea and home made cake. Soak up the atmosphere and take a step back in
Went in with family, pre booked. Got there early because of having a toddler to get settled. One lady working couldnât be more attentive. I believe her name was Emma. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was lovely - we had the afternoon teas. The place was clean, well presented, friendly and welcoming. Toilets were spotless, disabled access is possible though potentially a little cramped due to venue size. I highly recommend a visit.

Pilling's Boat-House is a truly unique place to come and relax, dine and enjoy our waterside setting. Our menu is simple and excellent value, with locally sourced produce. We offer breakfast lunch and evening meals, with a large decking for alfresco dinin
Hadnât been here for a couple of years, donât know why! Wanted somewhere to take visiting friends for a quiet lunch that was abit different, slightly worried that it was the school holidays and might be filled with little children. It wasnât and we had a delicious, leisurely lunch in the sun. The menu is interesting ,not just sandwiches and chips and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere on the terrace overlooking the water. Wonât leave it so long to return again!

Independent coffee shop and gift shop located in the vibrant village of Rothley, in heart of the Leicestershire countryside. Open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, serving breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas. All our cakes, savoury tarts and soups ar
I want to like this place but I keep having below par experiences here. Firstly the coffee isnât good. The machine isnât any better than my own home machine. I think u have to spend a decent amount on a quality machine and coffee these days. All the coffees taste and look the same - like weak cappuccinos - with no crema. Secondly thereâs a slightly odd attitude to customer service here. Hard to put my finger on it but I always come away feeling a wee bit like they did me a favour letting me in. Thirdly, the seating bit outside is really grim. Like sitting in a prison yard. Finally, the food is ok but just ok and expensive. For £17 for 2 for lunch (my last bill) Iâd like to come away having had really nice food, a great coffee I couldnât make myself and feel like it was a nice not a slightly irritating customer service experience. Although all our staff work hard to provide an enjoyable experience very occasionally we hear from customers via TripAdvisor who donât enjoy their visit. This is always disappointing for us. Thank you for your feedback and we wish you all the best.
