Estávamos procurando um local pra lanchar e nos deparamos com o La Parisina em frente à Praia dos Pescadores.Perguntamos se tinha opções veganas e o proprietário/chef nos ofereceu uma ciabatta com rúcula e tomate. Estava um pouco sem sal mas bem bom.Tomamos café e chá, ambos bons.No total gastamos R$80,00 para 3 lanches grandes, uma tortinha de sobremesa, um chá, dois cafés e um chocolate quente.Um porém é que a higiene não é o forte do local. Se você for muito encanado com isso, sugiro procurar outro lugar.

Comimos muy rico, la verdad es un lugar para recomendar. Se puede comer en el lugar o llevar. La calidad de la comida excelente. En cuanto a la atención le ponen mucha onda pero a veces los desborda .... de todas formas muy recomendable.

This is a very good little café with a local flavor. After our visit to Cabo Polonio, we were looking for a non-touristy place for dinner. Hence, we went into Rocha in search of just such a place. We found this restaurant on the town square and it looked exactly like what we were seeking.The exterior looked rather quaint while the interior was likewise charming. It had the looks of a vintage café. We found a seat on the lower level right away and were attended to by our server straightaway. He provided very good service all evening.The menu was very typical of what we had seen in Uruguay to that point. Among the five of us, we tried the chivitos, a beef dish smothered in onions, single serving pizzas and a deluxe salad for two. The chivitos were reportedly very good as was the beef. I had one of the pizzas. Mine was made with palm hearts and was very good. I also shared the salad which was prepared with beets, potatoes, peas and lettuce. It was excellent. The prices were quite reasonable as we stayed under $100 USD for five persons.If you are in the Rocha area and prefer to have a more "local" experience, this is a good choice.

Over my four days in La Paloma I visited Upa La La three times for meals. It was easy to return because the wait staff was very friendly and provided quality service. I asked if they served a good fish dish and Matias assured me he did. It was exactly what I was looking for that evening.Each time I returned I felt even more welcomed. Even though I moved a few kilometers away I returned for more delicious food. And they always serve a peanut mixture snack while you have a drink while your meal is being prepared.I only wish I had Matiasâs email address as I am not on FB.
