My husband and I recently started coming here for lunch. Everything we have tried has been good. I like their chicken salad sandwiches, mushroom or tomato soup and bran muffins. Their bran muffins are really good. The people at this restaurant are very friendly and helpful.

Judy's is one of the highest rated breakfast places in Garland. On my first visit, it's easy to see why. The breakfast menu is extensive with plenty of options for even a particular diner. Service is quick (for a cooked-to-order place), pleasant and efficient. I did not have to ask for, or wait for coffee refills! I will return when in that area. The menu includes lunch offerings, and there is a display case of pies near the register.

I took my daughter here for breakfast on her day off from work with the intention this would be a treat. We found it on the internet, from what we saw it sounded good and the prices very reasonable. We found the place with no problem, we went in and the sign stated "Seat Yourself." So we did, with the seats padding long gone I thought well it must be good. The standard menu was extensive with their specials. My daughter order the waffle, egg and sausage and I ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and hashbrowns. My daughter stated hers was ok, mine was hot, but had no flavor. Bottom line if hungry and not particular about the way the food tastes, this is the place for you.

Great little local restaurant. We go there for good, affordable breakfasts, but they do have lunches too, maybe dinners...not sure. The service is very efficient and courteous. The food is very good and priced fairly. Nice variety of choices. It's not too big, so could get crowded at some times, but we've been lucky so far. We like it and will definitely be returning.

This place was packed we arrived around 9:30 am there was a 35 minute wait for 2. I really wanted to eat here because of all the great reviews!By the time we were seated we both decided to get lunch instead of breakfast. I ordered the pot roast that was recommended by food network channel, we ordered the onion rings , a half order of poutine (since it's on my bucket list for food) , and my hubby got a classic burger. We got the yelp check in cookie treat which I got the chocolate chip cookie with brownie inside which was good. The decor is pretty cool and hip . They make these delicious looking pies , cookies, and homemade ice cream . The food came my hubby didn't enjoy the bun so he tried to eat the patty but said it seemed like a frozen patty â! My pot roast was tender , the mashed potatoes were yummy and so was the horseradish sauce. The gravy , carrots and green beans were not the best . They were edible though the weird piece of bread it was all served on was quite yummy. The poutine never came by the time the waitress noticed we were already eating our entrees so we told her to cancel it. All in all it's a fun hip spot with okay lunch food the breakfast going out did look pretty good but in my opinion not worth the wait!

After arriving late to our hotel in Richardson following the amazing Lion King musical at the Fair Park in Dallas, we were both starving. A quick search on TripAdvisor for restaurants open around midnight popped up the Cafe Brazil at the top of the list. After over two decades living in north Texas, we had never dined here despite my working just a few miles away. Oh what we have missed out on in those years. The decor is colorful if quirky. The fresh coffee is amazing. Though the service was a bit slow and absent, the pancakes and omelet were beyond exceptional. The eggs were seasoned a bit too spicy for the wife but just perfect for my taste.

My sister & I wanted to go and have a traditional English tea, this place came with a lot of great reviews. So we made a reservation, specifically stating we wanted the traditional high tea... everything seemed set for a pleasant Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival we went into the tea room & gave our reservation only to find out we got bumped because they had a bridal shower. We asked to speak to the owner & all she said was well you can sit on the porch & we can give you our lunch menu but no high tea as we are to busy. We explained we had made a reservation months ago, but she didn't care. So we sat outside on the steaming hot porch (fyi its to hot to sit on a porch in TX at that time of year!!!) & were given menus for lunch. the waitress tried to tell us we could get the "lunch tea" which is the same thing as what we had reservations for. It's not, soup & sandwich.. THIS IS NOT TEA! She brought us iced tea in plastic take away cups. The service was extremely slow!!! I would NOT go here if you are looking for a REAL traditional tea room... & apparently reservations DON'T MATTER!!!
