We went here for a Saturday lunch. We ordered the Sugarbee waffle sandwich and the Breakfast panini sandwich. Both were tasty, although the chicken patty was of the heated-up variety. The kiwi-jalapeño relish on the Sugarbee waffle sandwich was great! And the waffle was very tasty. The butter cake and the peanut butter bar were both excellent! Good texture and nice flavor. There are tables out in an indoor hallway to sit down to eat. Or the food comes served in take-away containers, so you have that option as well. The service was pleasant, friendly, helpful, and efficient. Tip: if you don't mind a little walk, you can park across the street in the former Redlands mall parking lot.

Fresh & delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner & catering, we're dedicated to keeping you happy in your Corner of the world.
Their blts are awesome. Used to only have them in summer, now year round. They have clean, good tasting food and friendly staff. Lots of parking and close to downtown, Trader Joe's and shopping. And you can buy sour dough bread by the loaf.

Always use to look forward to Panera's. Good food...reasonable prices...quick service...pleasant atmosphere...but the last several times we have sensed a diminution in food quality that when linked to entries which no longer are modest in cost is causing second thoughts. Today three lunches entries (2 toasted cheese and one steak sandwich) two fountain drinks and coffee ran $35+. Yikes! The cheese was barely warmed, the tomato added was sliced thin enough to read thru...and the steak sandwich? Where to begin? A very thinly sliced, very thinly sliced, and modestly portioned piece of roast beef, served cold! When returned to the counter the young man, in response to the request to heat the sandwich said, "If you want it heated use the microwave." Not pleasant by any measure. We can get bad food much more cheaply elsewhere, with pleasant service.
Esri is the local software company in redlands and this is basically their lunch room or cafe. Itâs open to the public. The place is all glass on three sides. The grounds are professionally landscaped with lots of boulders. Very pleasant views. They have food specials everyday. Made to order breakfasts and lunch. Fridayâs chorizo and egg breakfast burritos are my favorite.
I've been several times and every time I get a new flavor, haven't had a bad one yet. My favorite is Blue Coconut with cream. You can choose multiple flavors and the ice is shaved so finely, it's like snow. Also, the Mountain grove shopping center has so much outdoor seating, it's very pleasant to sit outside, eat shave ice and watch the little stream go by.

My friend and I eat at Bricks and Birch about once a month but the last few times we were there the temerature outside was in the 90's, as it is in Redlands during summer, and the doors were open, flies all over and fans on. When asked about the AC, I was told "it wasn't working." That excuse works for awhile but 3 months later, it's still being used so I'm suspecting they may not have AC. The restaurant is in an old building which was renovated to accommodate it but maybe it was too expensive to add AC. We went to another place to escape the heat and flies. I do not recommend it until it's appropriately cool inside. The food is good but the scones are best when the co-owner/wife makes them, otherwise they're just ordinary. I do hope the temperature issue is quickly resolved so we can return.

Discovered this cafe after searching for local restaurants with gluten-free options as I have Celiac Disease. We checked in online and when we got to cafe it was packed. Once seated, service was great. I had the gluten free breakfast sandwich and took some gluten-free coffee cake home. Both items were amazing. My daughter had chicken strips and onion rings which she enjoyed. Would highly recommend and will be back if every in the area again.
