We used to wander down to Paul's twice a week or so when we lived in the area and would often buy cakes, I think we made our way through the entire selection. We visited again today and it's not changed, still brilliant and Paul's still as friendly as ever. The cakes are gorgeous and a bargain too.

We have been on numerous occaisions and each time the food has been outstanding we are gradually working our way through the menu and every dish has been a delight so far. Cooked from scratch and well presented this homely little restaurant is a gem in Bury town centre. For little more than the price of a McDonalds meal you can get an authentic Thai meal, big servings and fresh ingredients. If in town give this little gem a try.

Tea room/cafe serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Homemade soup, scones and cupcakes. Eat in or takeaway.
My friend took me here for a spot of Afternoon Tea. The place is cozy and the owners are very friendly. They have the picnic tables for the Afternoon Tea which was all presented very nicely, however, some of the food was not fresh and a bit stale.

Good choices and inexpensive food in nice surroundings. Close to all the shops and the Market.Food is good and hearty and there is plenty of choice even for my Gluten free Wife. We never leave disappointed from Leckenbyâs. The staff are great and Georgia and the rest of the girls are a credit to the restaurant and management.Perfect lunchtime treat!

Looks very small as you enter but another room to the rear of counter. Good choice of teas and cakes. The milk for your tea is brought to table in small glass cups which means it is difficult to pour into your tea cup without a small pool of milk on table. Hard chairs uncomfortable Good service and our two types of tea both nice

for the uninitiated, Lancashire rarebit is a take on cheese on toast. But oh so much better.A slice of toasted brown bread covered in melting Lancashire cheese, with a single (well done) rasher of bacon and a slice/wedge of cold uncooked tomato. The acidity of the tomato blends wickedly with the saltiness of the cheese and the bacon. If that all sounds wonderful, it was :)Popped in after a 12km walk over the hills for a light bite and wasn't disappointed. Tea is served in a pot with fresh eaves and extra hot water.Overall, a lovely place to drop in and have a relax, staff were friendly and prices ok - I spent under £7 for food and drink.Thank you - will be back.

Called in for a quick bite to eat on a cold day while visiting the East Lancs Railway. The cafe is about two minutes from Ramsbottom station. Nice coffee and tasty sandwiches with friendly service. Quite busy but never rushed by staff to move you on, they are quite happy to leave customers to read the newspapers. The selection of cakes looked good too.

We were just travelling through Ramsbottom when we liked the look of the the Room 54, so we went in. Such friendly staff, cosy little cafe with a fabulous menu at reasonable prices. The food was exceptional, lovely hot food well presented on the plate. So full after the main course we had no room for a dessert, pity. Thank you to the young girl who served us, it was a lovely experience.
