We are seriously disappointed with this place. We've been loyal customers to nanas for years and always order at least £40 worth of food. We recently ordered with Nanas and after firstly refusing to deliver to us because of the distance (11 minute drive) the delivery arrives and costs way more than we added up from a recent menu. We were also not given a receipt. 4 people were left without a meal because the order had gone wrong and after disputing it on the phone with them, Nanas refused to take responsibility.

Perfect location to treat ourselves after our long walks, delicious egg and bacon sandwiches, yummy cupcakes, knowing they source locally produced products and being given a loyalty card is always a winnerThank you so much for your lovely review We hope you return soon. If we can improve on anything let us know. xx

With great views over Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains Plas Heli is a place to relax over morning coffee, enjoy a scrumptious light lunch before a walk along the beach, meet friends and family for afternoon tea or an early tipple, indulge in our m
I dropped by on a recent visit to Wales. The food was wonderful and the staff were great. I went in on the Sunday Carvery, which was excellent. As I was in Wales, I noticed the bilingual staff were alternating between the local tongue which is Welsh and English. This is no different to service establishments I have been to in Germany, Italy, Spain etc etc. If you go to Wales, bear in mind you arenât in England. Only a small minded bigoted racist moron would have a problem with people speaking their own language in their own country. The restaurant is quite pleasant and I wish them well in the future and I will return. Bryan, Glasgow/ Caer Clut.
Called in here on a day trip around the area the food is good and freshly made. The staff spoke Welsh which I do not have a problem with but when they spoke between themselves and then started laughing it felt very uncomfortable. My husband told me I should have walked out I wish I had but I am not as childish as them.

I have owned this café for the last four years and it is now a family business serving traditional breakfasts and lunches for locals and visitors alike. I have a 1950s/60s theme, for which I won an award in 2015 and we are bi-lingual.We have now added swe
I wouldn't know where to begin with this place and to be clear, I don't write bad reviews very often as I always want places to do well and thrive. However...however, this place was diabolical. The food was awful. Took an age to arrive despite us being the only ones in the cafe during high season at lunchtime, itself a slight giveaway. An evidently microwave-cooked baked potato (really?) and a salad destroyed with masses of raw onion. I asked for water and received a glass of tap water...laughable. They only accept cash...sorry, but that is a bit of a giveaway too and the decor despite multiple publicised proclamations about various local awards was dreadful kitsch. There was shouting across the room in a Welsh dialogue which is OK as it is, after all, Wales, but shouting across your table as you push the awful food around your plate? We didnt finish and left, over £11 worse off for food not worth a third of that. Perhaps if the vinyl table covering wasn't sticky things might have been better.I don't know why you apologise for leaving a bad review, your record shows that for your 53 good ones you have left 28 average and below, but you are entitled to your opinion, as are we. We like our kitsch decor and clearly so do most of our customers who comment on tripadvisor that they like it and as you point out, we have received 3 awards for it. If our customers are too loud for you, we are sorry, but they also have a right to do as they please and we do not try to restrict them, unless we have to. Our jacket potatoes are oven baked and then microwaved to reheat them, which is standard practice, otherwise you would wait an hour to have one cooked for you and if you did not like the salad, all you had to do was say so and we would have been pleased to change it for you, omitting any onion. We recommend you look on tripadvisor in future before you try a cafe and for the service you require, try a more upmarket restaurant.

Formally The Station Cafe, housed in a grade 2 listed building, believed to be one of the last remaining wooden station buildings in Britain. Great fresh, homemade food and cakes, excellent Italian coffee, sandwich bar and famous breakfasts served all day
While waiting for your train, a quick snack , hot or cold in this clean but old fashioned snack-bar. Pleasant and friendly staff, and there are always customers present, but plenty of tables and chairs .
Where to eat Welsh food in Pwllheli: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Not many places in Pwllheli serving lunch and accepting of dogs. After asking around we were directed to this cafe. So glad we stopped here. The garden area was ideal for the three families we were travelling with. The thirteen of us were very pleased with our meals and the service was good. Apart from the noise of the amusement arcade next door, this cafe should have been much busier for this time of year. They could appeal more to dog owners by offering a dog menu. If this was marketed or advertised more, iâm sure business would increase. Located on the other side of the car park away from the centre I would have liked to have seen some signage to make this cafe catch the eye of visitors.

Taro Deg offers customers fresh aromatic coffees, teas and drinks together with breakfasts and light lunches including delicious puddings and cakes within a modern, light, contemporary truly Welsh atmosphere. All the food including our desserts and cakes
We have been coming to this area multiple times each year for seventeen years. We always thought that non Welsh, ie the English, were not welcome at this cafe. After searching for alternatives to our usual favourites that can cater for coeliacs we gave othis place a try. It's marvellous!!!! We were made welcome, the environment is a mix of contemporary and shabby chic and the menu is innovative and interesting. Mum enjoyed a gluten free ham sandwich with coleslaw and salad which could maybe have been improved by a few kettle chip crisps but that is nit picking. My smoked bacon, goats cheese and ginger onion relish tortilla was delicious. My husband had the Edwards of Conwy sausage and caramelized onion baguette which he said was excellent. I indulged in a delicious slice of carrot cake, from an extensive range of cakes available. Will we come back ? Most definitely! Do we recommend? Absolutely 100%

This was, without a doubt, the best lunch Iâve eaten in a very long time; in fact I would go so far as to say it was the best lunch Iâve had in years. I could have eaten anything from the menu and every member of my family devoured the meals they ordered too!The service was great, quick but not âfastâ as thereâs nothing that isnât made fresh. But I personally wouldnât have it any other way... the coffee was especially delicious. If youâre in the area this is a must!!
