I've been in Indonesia for 5 months now and I've eaten in many many places but I can say that the best pesto pasta and iced coffee I've had, was surprisingly here in Wake up cafe in the small town of purwokerto..My compliments to the Chef/Barista. And Many thanks for the staff for such an excellent recommendation.

Have eaten here every night for 8 nights, great menu & mot expensive, terrific staff & most helpful... Good music on Saturday nights.. The whole complex is stunning, huge swimming pool, heaps of car / bike parking areas.. certainly will return & Highly Recommend.... just fantastic....

HeadQuarter have two sections, air conditioned (non smoking area) and non air conditioned (presumably smoking area) We went there in the afternoon for coffee and snacks in the air conditioned section. Ordered hot latte, Toraja black coffee and iced cappuccino for drinks. And French fries, chocolate dip churros and apple cinnamon for snacks. The churros and the fries was good, and so was the apple cinnamon. The size of the fries could be bigger though, they were cut to small. Unfortunately I can not say the same about the coffee. My latte was bland and my friend's Toraja black coffee was weak. I received no comment from my friend who ordered the iced cappuccino, so I assumed it was to her liking.Overall it is a cozy place to hang out but I don't think I will go there for the coffee.

I went here because I was hungry (we ordered grilled salmon and half chicken). Both were adequately good in taste. The cafe is spartan with a concrete floor and exposed bricks painted white. They had a lot of sushi on the menu but I wouldn't dare order sushi from a place on my first time from a place with a closed kitchen.Will I come here again? Sure, since there aren't many other options in Purwokerto.

The first thing you notice here is the incredibly frndly staff. Their English is fluent and their hospitality is unqueationably the best.the food is incredible, encompassing everything from typical Javanese cuisine to Western foodm the Teriyaki burger was anazing and their fruit shakes are a must try.
