The menu is very comprehensive and includes everything from burgers to steaks to sushi to Chinese food. Really doesn't make sense. They have a huge wine room with hundreds of bottles of wine, but a very short wine list. Food quality was boring at best. Definitely not worth a return trip. Superb quality and service. We had lunch and everything single item was fresh and obviously prepared from scratch. The menue offers a great international selection of salads, soups, sandwiches and main courses from different countries. Under no circumstances omit the dessert because they are fabulous. It is one of my favorite places in Costa Rica.

Had the Piña Hummus and the guacamole spreed along with a fabulous cappuccino. The service was excellent and the food came quickly. I strongly suggest this for those needing gluten-free and/or vegetarian dishes. Friendly service too. Sat outside during great weather.

Enjoyed lunch on the back terrace which is quite pleasant surrounded by plants and lots of fresh air. The portions are quite large and filling. It was difficult to choose from all the veg options. Overall the food was tasty. Next time I will pass on the fresh juice as it was green but tasted like water.

Most wonderful setting for this cafe, right overlooking the river with beautiful grounds and a very obliging quetzal in the trees! Had coffee, then after a short walk came back for lunch, it was so nice & friendly there. Had the local trout ceviche & trout pate - totally scrumptious & a substantial helping.. highly recommended.Thanks so much for your visit and for a wonderful review. This is a charming and cosy restaurant offering great food. The owners/staff offer such a warm welcome.The staff speak excellent English and are happy to describe the dishes. I ate here for lunch. We ordered drinks, sandwiches, and dessert. The meal was tasty, but it was more expensive than it should have been. The sandwiches are not very filling and they come with nothing but the sandwich. For three of us, we spent nearly $75. That's way more than a lunch like this should cost.
