This family run cafe is easy to find in the high street as you walk down towards the quay .As it was summer one could sit inside or out . I found the food nicely cooked and there was a good variety to choose from

We welcome you to come and soak up the waterside atmosphere here at South Deep, a great place for our marina customers, berth holders and guests to relax after a day out on the water. Indulge in our head chefâs delicious food whilst enjoying a chilled gla
Went to South Deep for lunch today, we waited a little while to be seated after having two waitresses pass us without question. After eventually being greeted, and sat down we werenât given menus, had to get them off another table, waited 10-15 minutes before anyone approached us, same situation with the waitresses making eye contact but not once coming up to us. Food was great, but once finished, our table was never cleared and no one did a check back on our table to see how we were getting on. After asking for the bill, we then waited around 5 minutes, went into the restaurant and all staff were standing around in the kitchen doing nothing. The attitude we received from one waitress was awful, and then the manager came over to try and resolve it, the waitress laughed and rolled her eyes and walked off. Very disappointing since this place is so nice, just need the staff to be replaced or at least trained.Hi,Thank you for your review. Naturally we are very sorry to hear that you had a poor experience here st South Deep. This is not our aim at all and it is something we are constantly trying to improve. We'd very much like to discuss your review in more detail so if you wouldn't mind emailing me (Jimmy) - [email protected] then we can discuss this further. Thanks again. Best regards, Jimmy

We called in the Quay cafe for lunch on bank holiday Monday, it was very busy but the staff quickly cleared tables. We both ordered cooked meals and drinks, both were brought to our table very quickly. The meals were very good and the staff very friendly. You are also able to sit outside and dogs have their own area inside in you want to take them inside.Thank you for your review. So pleased you enjoyed your lunch with us and that the lovely weather meant so many people could enjoy our fantastic location.

After calling ahead to check what time the kitchen finished serving breakfast, we arrived 2 minutes after the cut off time. We were refused breakfast so I asked to speak to the manager. She arrived and was so incredibly rude! There was no compromise, she said that they wouldn't serve us breakfast and was so unhelpful. After a few minutes I decided to walk away from there was no point talking to her. My children spoke to her & again got nowhere. She actually pointed towards me and referred to me as 'she!' My children did get annoyed and I told them we were leaving (one is a hospitality manager and was appalled by her behaviour). We have visited this establishment many times and have only ever found excellent service from the staff. Sadly we will not be returning. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. As you have visited the cafe many times you would have been aware that the kitchen closes for breakfast at 11am on a Sunday, the reason for this is to enable myself and my team to finish the preparations for a busy Sunday Lunch service.I was made fully aware that you had telephoned at 10.35am to say that you would be arriving in 10-15 mins which would have been in time for breakfast, but you arrived after 11am when service had ended.Charlotte(Cafe Manager) would have acted in a professional manner and at no time do we accept abusive language from any members of the public visiting Compton Acres.

independent family restaurant on Poole quay with views of Poole harbour. One of two restaurants (the other one is called Coffee Club Westbourne) All the staff work very hard to provide a good experience and hope that you enjoy your visit, and return to vi
Nothing here hit the spot for us. Tea was cool not hot. Food came out of a freezer like the thin greasy chips and plastic pizza. Tables were still loaded with plates and needed cleaning.

Family run cafe offering freshly cooked breakfasts lunches and snacks , yummy cream teas (sweet and savoury). Outside seating also available. Kitchen closes an hour before we close. No bookings taken apart from parties over 10 people minimum and on Sunday
If you have read any of my reviews, you might recall I don't do mushrooms. A full English Breakfast obviously has mushrooms, but I will happily forgo these and might get an extra sausage. When I ordered my FEB without mushrooms I was asked what I would like in stead. I hesitated because obviously a FEB is a bit naughty when you are not actually on holiday, when it is almost compulsory. The offer of black pudding was gladly accepted.Excellent choice. This garden center cafe & tea room is just off the beaten track, but don't pass it by. The staff are friendly and smile a lot. Food is great value. On the wals are some really good artworks available to buy.

Phoned up to book for afternoon tea. Staff very accomodating in our requests to change sandwiches from their standard set due to personal tastes. On the day quick service and staff knowledgeable about the wide selection of teas available. Lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones. All homemade. Really nice space and atmosphere, would be good for small functions and occasions. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an afternoon tea of exceptional quality. Only down side was my fiancee putting jam before cream on her scone :)
