With a Sonic in Avon and a truck off of 36 in Btownsburg, why would the west side need another shaved ice place?? The short answer is- Frigid Frog will put ice cream in the bottom!!! This is a revolution in shaved ice. You might think I'm exaggerating but you really have to give it a try. Frigid Frog staff are friendly and helpful. They have a ton of flavors for the ice and you can get several different sizes. I love the Ocean Pacific. It combines blue raspberry, lemon, and vanilla syrups. So tasty! Stop by for a cool treat on a hot day. They also sell snacks like popcorn and cotton candy! Great place to take children.

On our latest trip to Plainfield, IN to visit family, we found Milk and Honey, a wonderful pastry and coffee café in Plainfield. Off main street, it's not the easiest place to find, but it's well worth the effort! My wife, son and I went for breakfast. We each tried a different pastry and all swore that our pastries was the best we've ever had. The almond croissant I enjoyed was big, buttery, covered with almonds, just the right amount of almonds, and served warm. Likewise, the latte--although not the best I've had, was certainly one of the best. My wife and I bought several macrons also to eat on our trip back home. These were beautiful creations with great flavor and that melted in our mouths. Milk and Honey is not a large shop, but it has several places to sit, including a nice, large table in the front of the café. All of us look forward to our next visit to Milk and Honey, a wonderful café with pleasant service and a comfortable dining room.
