The most striking thing about this place was the absolutely delicious food. I had the grilled cheese sandwich - the quince paste or light jam adds just the right hint of sweetness to this perfect crisp on the outside and soft on the inside sandwich. The spicy quinoa salad was very innovative . The crisp baked chickpeas and the spicy quinoa with the baby spinach strike a perfect balance, the dollop of cardamom yoghurt on top takes it to the next level. The portion sizes are just right, and the food is freshly made. The place is very clean. The waiters are very friendly. I had lunch there when driving through Paso Robles. Had I lived there, Next Door Bistro would have been my frequent haunt! Thanks for your great feedback! We're glad to bring this unique, truly Bistro dining experience to Paso & very much appreciate your kind comments!

Pros: Fresh, healthy food. Creative menu. Friendly service.Cons: Small restaurant. Waits are likely in cold or wet weather (you can't go outside). Closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.Star Ratings:- Overall: 5- Food Quality: 5- Food Quantity: 4- Dining Room Attractiveness: 4- Menu: 5- Service: 5- Noise: 4- Price: 4- Value: 4- Parking: 4- Ambiance: 5When visiting Paso Robles during the past several years, my wife and I usually had breakfast at the Cowgirl Cafe. Nothing against that place. They do a good job providing big portions of hearty meals at reasonable prices with personable service. But their food can best be described as "grub". If you'd like something healthier for breakfast or lunch than a chuckwagon and attractive yet down-to-earth, try Andrea's On Pine.- Location: Central. The restaurant is 1/2 block south of the town square on Pine Street across from the movie theaters.- Exterior: Tricky. Signage is "understated" so it's best to have the address. My wife and I arrived at 945 AM on a cold morning in March, thus we couldn't take advantage of the outdoor seating which seemed larger than the inside part of the place.- Dining Room: Cozy. I counted 5 tables which might comfortably hold 18 people. But size isn't the point. Andrea's oozed charm from the display case with freshly prepared salads, quiches and baked goods to the bright, colorful atmosphere to the workers, including Andrea, who made/served the food and frequently asked if there was anything they could do to help. Very nice, but not much room to stretch.- Menu: Small but exciting. Lots of big-city items at Paso Robles prices. They've also got a chalkboard with specials of the day which they'll move around the room so everyone can read it.- Food: Outstanding. Many places claim to be "farm to table", but I believe Andrea's is telling the truth. We had the best breakfast in a long time. I got orange juice...a vegetable panini...raspberry muffin and part of my wife's lemon blueberry muffin (amazing). She had a vegetable frittata...coffee and what was left of her muffin. The food was fresh, tasty, filling and about as far from grub as you could get. While waiting for our meal, we saw Andrea's breakfast tacos land on nearby tables. Mounds of good looking stuff. They also have a lunch menu, but might offer breakfast the entire day (830 AM to 2 PM).- Liquor: We didn't have any, but I spotted a refrigerator containing beer and wine which is probably reserved for lunch...or more adventuresome breakfasts.- Service: Neighborly. Andrea's is informal, so we had 3 people check on us at different times, including Andrea. I got the feeling they're more than happy to accommodate specific requests.- Price and Value: Not cheap like fast food, but people don't come here for that. You definitely get value for your money.- Bathroom: Seemed clean and nice enough. One bathroom is used for men and women.- Parking: Plenty. Just look for it on the street or nearby town square. If your objective for breakfast (or any meal) is belly up to the bar or feed at the trough, keep looking. If real, honest food served with a personal touch in creative combinations inside (or outside) a cottage type of restaurant is more your style, Andrea's is the place to try. We'll be back.

Hard to judge the menu as we opted for the Senior's breakfast after our filling Thai dinner at Basil Thai, the night before. It was a good, classic (Eggs, potatoes and sausage or bacon) Senior's Breakfast, just the right amount!Service was good and I suspect the more elaborate breakfasts would be good too. It is a popular place!

Odyssey World Cafe is known for its fresh baked bread, home-made soups, mouth-watering sandwiches, and delicious homemade cuisine. "Take Your Palate on a World Tour"
A comfortable, reasonable and relaxing place to eat. The food was nicely priced, the vegetables cooked perfectly and all in a relaxing non pretentious setting.
