One of the best located spots in all of Oxford, you'll find it hard not to spot that Brazilian flag right next to Carfax tower everytime you're in town! Well priced, quick, and simple meal.Had the Picanha for lunch which came on a massive plate with rice, beans, and salad. Meat was actually cooked really well, and not chewy at all. Always nice to have a taste of home, and this really hit the spot! Perfect if you're looking for a no frills meal that is well done. Do keep in mind that they only take cash.

Upon entry there are an array of options which all look rather enticing, but in reality the food isn't much to be desired and overpriced for the portion sizes / array of ingredients (£7 for a juice) Like what they're trying to do but wouldn't visit again.

sometimes when you return to a restaurant it isn't quite the same, the food isn't what you remember or the service is lacking. Well, none of that happened. The food was still excellent and the service has not diminished. The portions for the breakfast are generous. I had a beautifully baked scone with with clotted cream and jam as well as half of the English breakfast shared with my wife. She had a pastry and 1/2 breakifast and we were both full. The service was cheery and prompt.Hey there Michael, thanks so much for reviewing us, we really appreciate the feedback! Also many thanks for trying us out again, we're so glad we didn't disappoint! Hope that we get to see you guys again :) NB x

My sister and I came across this Swedish place tucked just off a busy street in Oxford. We had lunch - I enjoyed scrambled eggs on sourdough, which was so tasty and came with a well-dressed salad. The staff were happy to swop the smoked salmon for avocado, and it was a really generous helping. My sister had the breakfast platter which was huge and delicious! We took away cinnamon buns, and enjoyed those later on. Just one improvement would be to have a few more vegetarian options, as they were definitely lacking. And the buns were a little over-priced. Overall though, we'd recommend this place!Hello, thanks for the lovely review. I'm pleased you enjoyed our brunch plates. We will be introducing our new autumn menu soon and will include some more vegetarian options. Thanks for the feedback and hope to see you again at Skogen another time.

Can regularly be found here having a May Day breakfast, or a lunch item. The food is nice, and the service is good. It's a traditional greasy spoon. I tried their fish and chips to take away recently, and found the fish slightly disappointing (hence only 4 stars). But have learnt from my mistake and will stick to the food that I know is very good. At peak times it can be difficult to find a seat, especially for wheelchair users. But this is probably a testament to the cafe's success.
