Café Boca del Monte is a relaxed space to enjoy eating, drinking and sharing. We use local and fresh ingredients. A cuisine oriented to flavor, simple and enjoyable, prepared to please.

The quality of the bread is really, really good. Besides the pastries, we also ate lunch there once. I had the spiciest Banmih Iâve ever had, it had some whole toasted chilies inside. My wife had the best sandwich, a ham and cheese pannini that was out of this world. Prices are high, and the service is so so, but the bread is heavenly.

Chepiche is a lovely breakfast spot off a calle privada in Xochilmilco. Tables are sprinkled about in a lovely, quiet courtyard. I had the green chile chilaquiles topped with a fried egg and a glass of fresh orange juice. Yum! The waitress was attentive and "muy amable". Good value. Probably best if you speak some Spanish.

This is a quiet café in a nice courtyard with relatively comfortable chairs and free but not very fast WiFi, good to while away a few hours. Inside, there are also window seats which are nice because you have a view on a plaza where there are local folkdancing groups having fun in the evening hours which you can watch. The coffee is OK. English menu.
