while there are several places, this one is certainly a place to recommend for a quick, nice, quality ice cream
Passed by cafe milo as I was walking in Nyon went in for iced coffee and a sandwich which were good. nice ambiance
Had brunch at Fluer de Pains three times. Each time the pastry at this patisserie was excellent. Recommend the apple tart especially. Coffee was variable - good, some average, some poor. My general impression after 3 weeks in Switzerland is that Swiss coffee is very variable and not overly good. The pastries here are far more reliable as is the bread. A good barista here would make an outstanding place to have pastry and coffee. Little English spoken but service always with a smile.Thank you very much for your nice comment ! We hope we can always count you as one of our loyal customers and your comment motivates us to keep on making our customers happy thanks to our products and services ! We wish you a nice day and hope to seeing you soon in one of our Fleur de pains Bakery !
This little gem is centrally located, right opposite the main train station in Nyon. It is up a short flight of stairs, and therefore not really wheelchair or buggy accessible, which is its only negative point. The place is a small, traditional tea-room, serving a variety of mouth-watering cakes, pastries and confections, as well as various sandwiches, canapés, whole cakes (e.g. for parties/special occasions), and of course various teas, coffees, juices and soft drinks. It is fairly quiet, but the regular clientele give off a low-level background hum of satisfaction, which adds to the quaint atmosphere. The staff are friendly, and know their products. There's a small terrace area, which is very welcome in the warmer months.Always a pleasure to go back. Recommended.
