Multi-award winning Vegetarian and Vegan eatery based in the historic 'Castle Quarter' in Nottingham. Specialising in beautiful artisan plates of food using local produce.
We enjoyed our visit here today. A small cafe, we were very lucky to get a table. We had a nice homemade lemonade while waiting for our mains, which was very welcome on a hot day. We had the soya chicken based salad, which contained excellent malty bread. In addition we shared more âpopcorn chickenâ and marbled potato sides. All were very tasty. Almond and blueberry muffins were also tasty and the chai latte well made and not over sweet. Overall a pleasant visit, our only observation was that the mains were on the small side and we were glad that we had supplemented these with a couple of sides.

Had read great reviews and popped in for a coffee and cake on Saturday afternoon. Had rocky road and just crumbled when I cut into it. Banana bread was mediocre. Also tasted stale. Staff pleasant enough but could not seem to manage too many people at once.

American style breakfast diner serving only freshly prepared food home made pancakes and hashbrowns to name a few Free range eggs and local sausage and top quality bacon
Of course a cafe named after the capital of Poland will serve American-style breakfasts that taste so good you'll think you're in Times Square. That makes perfect sense. Well, that's exactly the case with the Warsaw Diner. The Warsaw part comes from the Polish ownership of the restaurant, and there's a small nod to Polish cuisine in one of the sausages and the amazing hash brown. Everything else is pure US of A though, and it's fantastic. We visited just after 1PM on a Saturday and it was still busy. We both went for the Big Easy breakfast - French toast with bacon or sausage (we chose the former) and eggs of your choice (we went for scrambled). We both had one of the aforementioned hash browns and I had mushrooms too. Because. The French toast was spot on, the bread not too thick and nicely light but crispy. The scrambled eggs were creamy and rich while the bacon was just slightly crisped, but not so much that it exploded when you bit into it. The hash brown was a delight of grated potato and onion and the whole thing came with bottomless coffee and cost just over £15 for both of us. Amazing. If there's a better breakfast available anywhere in Nottingham I'm yet to find it. I suspect I never will.
