We were hungry, had just flown home and needed food. I said - Let's try Crystal Cafe. Were we glad we did! It wasn't busy (it was around 7:00 pm), a real dyed in the wool, diner. Our waitress was awesome. This place had everything and some great specials. In the end we both opted for breakfast. Eggs, bacon or sausage (I had spicy Italian - wow!). My husband had a ham and cheese omelette, with chunks of ham in it. Tea, pop, and cheap!!! Don't let that strip mall location put you off.

My wife and I had a delicious breakfast at the Egg House Cafe. Coincidentally, the owner operated a restaurant in our home town of Excelsior, MN for 10-12 years. Her former restaurant was a popular gathering place for breakfast in our community. It would seem this restaurant in Crystal should be the same except when we stopped by at approx. 9:30 AM on Tuesday there was only one other patron in the cafe. Both of us ordered versions of biscuits & gravy with eggs. The biscuits were homemade and delicious while the gravy seemed a lot like gravies I've eaten in many other places. The owner served us and was friendly, efficient, and followed up throughout our meal to make sure we were satisfied and had everything we needed. I would have given the Egg House a five star rating except the restaurant appeared to need some cleaning, starting with the front glass door. My wife and I love to experience small, neighborhood restaurants and prefer them to chain eateries. However, if they are not clean in the dining room we are not confident the kitchen is any better.

Warmly greeted by staff as it was obvious we were first timers. Coffee is a big part of breakfast for us and the coffee was excellent. Very good cheese and grits. Avo-Bacon Benny was creative and exceptional. The dining area is worn and that knocks off one star, but the food is so good! We will be back very soon. Well done! Yum!
America's favorite all-day, everyday stop for coffee, espresso, breakfast sandwiches and donuts. Stop by or order ahead with the Dunkin' App.
I took my four year old son here for a doughnut and coffee/hot chocolate. The service was very fast and friendly, and the doughnuts were good. I got the general swill coffee and it was pretty bland, but not very expensive either. There is seating here, but it is kinda tight.

My wife and I chose Henry's based on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. My wife had the veggie omelette and I had the hearty breakfast. The American fries were exceptional especially with onions. I really appreciated the option of a pancake instead of toast. The pancake was perfectly done.

Itâs a popular breakfast place in Minneapolis and itâs busy in the morning. Saturday 9AM though we didnât had to wait to be seated. I tried Southwestern Omelette which came with potatoes and bread and I highly recommend this. Robin the server was great and very pleasant.

Great service and place was cozy and clean and well organized. Loved the choices and that breakfast served all day. Had roast beef and meatloaf dinners and both were wonderful with mashed potatoes and gravy and delicious. We would return and bring others to share in this local gem of a cafe so close to home.

Great larger greasy spoon breakfast spot that always seems to be full. Servings are very large so prepared to be full when you leave! In addition to standard breakfast fare, they offer a great selection of different versions of eggs rancheros with spicy sauces. A little more expensive than smaller diners as most dishes are in $11-$12 range but still a good value given food quality and portion size.
