I think if I were to own a restaurant, this is exactly the kind of place I would have. A casual eatery that embraces the Nevada City vibe. Delicious, healthy food with plenty of options and variety. Lovely decor with brick, wood, and metal accents.I don't have any photos to post, but if you go to their Facebook page or website, you can see food photos and the menu.This place offers a very simple menu, yet the options to mix and match gives you the opportunity to try something different every time.I eat plant based and have plenty of options here. My family eats meat and adds salmon or egg to their bowl.If you just want to stop in for a cup of coffee or tea, this is the place. If you want a light breakfast, this is the place. If you want a hearty, healthy lunch that will send you home with leftovers, this is the place. They also make delicious herbal lemonade.

All your chain and corporate restaurants use sauces shipped in from corporate food service vendors....aka ..er um: Sys** (we know) Cali Organics utilizes Fresh High Quality Eggs and Butter to create....FROM SCRATCH...note that!!...A country homemade Hollandaise sauce used to smother your breakfast combo in flavor that will actually send your taste bud sensations into endorphin sensation overload....In a nutshell.....DELICIOUS!!!!!....and knowing it's not from a powder with water added or a plastic bladder bag filled with....frozen and trucked in nonsense with questionable ingredients ....now that you know ......I won't put down or diss the multinational chain restaurants nor name them( cause you know who they are).....I am just giving you a choice......remember when it comes to breakfast there is the Good, the Bad and the Ugly!....I love California Organics of Nevada City for it's honesty in making food...Simple and like you would put together in your own kitchen.......This is a TRUE hollandaise sauce and if you are a conissouer of the Eggs Benedict breakfast dish and know what to look for then ....and are feeling like eating out......then seek out California Organics Located in Nevada City.....

Visited on a really hot day. We only stopped for drinks but they have a lovely shaded patio. Great looking menu and friendly helpful staff.

I've heard people complain about how they took away the corn pancakes. After coming there for my 1st time after they had already been off the menu, I was a little bit disappointed that I wouldn't be able to try then. I just happened to go in on my birthday for breakfast and BAM! THEY WERE BACK FOR A WEEK! So you know I had to try them. Whoever the genius was that decided to put sweet corn in a pancake one day, I love you. Their delicious, sweet, probably the best pancake I've had ever. Not served with syrup, but so good on it's own. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Nevada City. Stop by for breakfast and you wont be disappointed.
