Beautiful renovated 19th-century co-op, opened 7 months ago, serving fabulous home baked cakes, breakfasts and lunches. Local produce combined with top quality.
Super veggie friendly lunch and brunch options ...Lavender is the go-to place to eat every time weâre in the Stroud valleys.Worth booking at busy times as can be booked out.The service is a little quaint, but always friendly, and not unduly slow. Most of all, the food is very high quality home cooked and good portions. From breakfasts to sandwiches and amazing cakes.Great for veggies.

Whilst visiting Minchinhampton, we popped into this place for a mid morning cup of tea, I found the staff very friendly and helpful, and the place itself had a local old world charm, with excellent tea, and lots of yummy snacks to eat.

Our family run café in Nympsfield serving great coffee, delicious homemade cakes and freshly cooked food
lovely setting for this cafe on a campsite above Nailsworth. A very informal but comfortable cafe with a great choice of pizzas, salads and mezze plates. The service was good and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Easy parking and lovely views across the Woodchester valley. To be recommended

Brilliant full English and our Eggs Royale were superb. Generous amount of smoked salmon and delicious homemade hollandaise sauce. Great value food- mostly vegetarian with the odd meat dish - priced at £6.50 or £7.50 for a main dish with side salad. Certainly a plateful, all cooked fresh for that sitting. When it's gone, it's gone. Do get there early if you want the full choice of dishes!

Read a few reviews on TA about 28 and thought we'd pop in for a coffee.Americano and Flat whiteWell presented and a good flavour so they were spot on about the coffee. My only criticism is the actual interior of the cafe.GRUBBY ~ it looks uncared for and unwashedMaybe I'm just fussy, but even though there was much talk of redecoration, the cafe was down at heel and looked and felt grubby. It had a very Steiner/Acorn vibe and maybe this is their alternative cafe culture, but for me food establishments from small to large need to be clean and look clean.Maybe I'm just too old and out of touch with this version of cafe culture.Good coffee but I'm off back to the sign of the tree of olives.

Our Bistro menu celebrates British food and produce of the South West, making best use of Hobbs House Bakery's handmade bread and wood fired oven. We have a focus on the carefully sourced; everything is bought directly from the producers and cooked with r
I really want to be nice about this place. We come here every year when we are on holiday and love their cakes and coffee. However something very disturbing has happened here. All we wanted was a nice English breakfast. Not just a fry up but decent local produce and what did we get on the menu?. No mention of English breakfast and the nearest by description had a dollop of Avocado thrown on the plate. Yes we could change that but I am getting rather tired of places thinking they can posh themselves up by mashing up some avocado. Then to really finish us off they do not sell baked beans. Come on let's get back to basics. We did get some of what we wanted but it worked out ridiculously expensive. Also the produce was nothing special.LOVED your Victoria sponge thou!.

Visited on Wednesday for a quiet coffee. As always, the warmest welcome awaited and the service excellent. Genuinely enjoyed the nicest Eccles cake I had EVER tasted, warmed perfectly in the oven, served with a latte. A little gem in a lovely village.
