Walked past this and on checking out the menu decided to have lunch here. What a good decision as the food was delicious.I had the smashed avocado on sourdough whilst my partner the green salad bowl. The food came quickly and mine was as it said plus Dukha and pomegranate and was delicious. The green bowl was anything but green with lots of slightly cooked veg including avocado, broccoli, rocket, quinoa, pickled radish, pickled ginger etc. It was delicious and very filling. We also had the juice of the day, an interesting mix of orange, pineapple, carrot and ginger. It was refreshing and very tasty.Service was excellent with friendly and attentive staff only happy if we were.An excellent stop for a luscious lunch.

For a long while Hi Tide Cafe, Bar, Restaurant has been a local's secret, and no wonder because this is as close to a beachfront hideaway as it gets in the middle of Port Douglas. Indeed, if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Macross
Tides has a very nice setting with great decor and well appointed We ordered coffee and breakfast the coffee arrived after 20 mins and the breakfast after 40 mins ?? We ordered granola which is a cold dish but the couples who ordered cook breakfast after us received thereâs first. When ours arrived we had requested cream with the dish. The waitress disappeared with a cream request and never came back so after 5 to 10 mins of waiting my wife went and enquired and was to be told to be told we donât have cream The food was good the staff were nice but the communication and service needs to be improved Thanks for taking the time to leave you review, I appreciate you mentioning that the food was good and we apologise that the service you received was not up to our usual standard. We have addressed this with the staff and will look to improve.

A cosy cafe in Port Douglas, serving barista made coffee, homemade cakes, tasty breakfast & lunch and a large variety of cold and iced drinks
We had lunch at this Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hubby had a BLT and I went all out and had the BLAT! That addition of lettuce adds some extra crunch! We both got plenty of tasty bacon in them, and the focaccia bread was good. Both fruit juices were fresh, cold and very refreshing. The staff member who served us was very friendly.

Monkey Joes Cafe on Macrossan Street Port Douglas offering Breakfast & Brunch from 7am and local Ransom coffee from 6.30am. Try our Award winning House Smoked Bacon - 2nd place in Queensland Australian Pork Awards 2019/20.
Our last breakfast in Port Douglas - didnât read any reviews just ended up at Monkey Joes by chance. Food was first class at reasonable price. Excellent service. It might have been our last breakfast but it was definitely the best. Highly recommend.

Wow! What a delicious find for Sunday lunch! Very pleasant setting, attentive staff and a big selection of lunch options. We went with mouthwatering ceviche that came on this amazing cracker on top of smashed avo - melt in your mouth! The squid salad was packed full of flavour and seafood and was cooked to perfection! The Ruben sandwich was just like ones we tasted in New York- classic! All very well priced and accompanied by a lunch time alcoholic beverage. Made our day!

All day breakfast/brunch menu served with additional lunch from 11.30 using the freshest of ingredients. Exciting menu tailored to suit all appetites.
Had lunch here yesterday after our flight from Melbourne to Cairns. We have been here several times in the past few years and find their no nonsense menu and friendly staff a pleasure.I just had 2 poached eggs on toast (they have all day breakfast menus) and my wife had the soft shell crab burger. The eggs on toast are just that. However, the soft shell crab salad was flavorful and had the right amount of herbs and spices.
