Things to do in Morpeth
I take my client here to eat as this is the palace that he feels he is made to feel welcome. He has learning difficulties and the staff here are wonderful towards him. They know him by name and are extremely patient with him which is why he feels safe! The food is excellent I can never say I have been disappointed and my client has certainly enjoyed every meal he has bought. I also must shout out the diversity of Morrisonâs for embracing people with Learning Disabilities and letting them experience work experience days at their store in Morpeth, Northumberland this is something to be proud of. Thank you.

Dobbies garden centre is perfect for a family day out, with everything you need to enjoy your home and garden from flowers and plants to tools, furniture and homeware.
We visited Dobbies while the children were off school. Only a few pre-packed sandwiches left, and almost £7 for a ham toastie on ordinary white bread with a few cheap crisps. Scandalous. Prices werent always easy to find - i wonder why? We wont be eating there again.

Itâs easy to miss this cafe from the street, but once you find it youâll want to keep coming back. A modern version of a tea room, the coronation chicken sandwich was delicious and so was the lemon cheesecake. Iâd like to eat here everyday for a week to work my way through the menu.

If I'm in Morpeth before noon, I always go here for breakfast. The scrambled eggs with smoked salmon is delicious, there's so much salmon with it, but my favourite at the moment is lovely, soft eggy French toast (you get 2 slices) with 3 rashers of crispy bacon. It's gorgeous and only 4 pounds, including a proper cup of coffee. There are plenty of other breakfast things on the menu, nothing extraordinary, but all well prepared and very tasty. Lunches are a selection of hot or cold wraps, soup etc. Again, nothing out of the ordinary, just well-cooked food at affordable prices. Check it out. Please!

Family run cafe in the unusual setting of a motorcycle shop but all people welcome .... Children and are welcome too ! Have a lot of family visitors .... friendly staff and a good atmosphere ... bear in mind you will have conversation with the friendly fo
Freshly prepared food cooked to perfection with lovely smiley, friendly and very quick service. Portions are generous and my husband opted for a cracking chicken and bacon salad and I had a lamb wrap curry dish from the specials board and whilst I can't remember what it was called it was delicious, set off by potato skins and salad. Prices are very reasonable at £11.90 including two mugs of tea. We completely cleared our plates and felt so stuffed afterwards we couldn't finish our cuppas. I would thoroughly recommend Morpeth Motorcycles Cafe and we will be back when we are next in Morpeth.

Had a cheese and red onion scone here with a latte. The scones were delicious and full of cheesy flavour with the onion coming through. They were very filling but totally scrumptious. The service was lovely, the waitress being chirpy and friendly. A lovely environment to sit and enjoy a morning break. Very cosy, not many tables but delightfully elegant, quaint and clean. Itâs a definite winner with me.

Micah's is a family run Grade II listed tea room in the attractive market town of Morpeth in Northumberland. Meet with friends or family, inside or out in our (sometimes) sunny courtyard, but above all have the memorable experience of great value food and
This is a lovely, intimate tearoom with a small garden area neat the clocktower. Offers soups, sandwiches, cakes, pastries, scones and full meals many of which are Gluten free which is to be commended. Service is welcoming and friendly. The fittings are quirky with a retro feel and it is as pleasant on a warm sunny day as a cold winters one. We have been here on both.Hi and thanks for taking the time to write your comments. We are a little off the beaten track for Morpeth. But head for the clock tower at the end of the High Street and on the left of Oldgate you'll find us at number 13. Teapots hanging outside! We do offer homemade soups and fresh sandwiches and our Gluten Free and Vegan ranges are every increasing...Very quirky style but we like it. Come see us again soon.

Called for a bite - bacon butty and a pot of tea. It was nice but nothing special. Prices were average and cafe clean.

Quaint, traditional English Tea Room with home baking at the heart of the business. Serving breakfast, lunches and afternoon teas with a table licence for wines and beers. All food including our delicious traditional scones and cakes are cooked and served
Beautiful little cafe, cosy and clean. Very friendly staff taking orders. The quiche was delicious - home made - huge slice too. For an extra £1.00 my husband opted for a jacket potato with it. My daughters loved their lunches too. I had a warm sultana scone which was light and delicious. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and will definitely call again when next in Morpeth. Highly recommend.

Fabulous to find somewhere I can eat out (and have choice) while sticking to my cholesterol lowering diet. Will definitely be returning for more. Helpful, friendly advice given on diet too.
