Small Beach side cafe. Offering good quality home cooked food. With a very large selection of ice cream
Always a friendly welcome, good quality homemade food and a warm refuge after walking the wonderful dog friendly beach at Silecroft. Iâve had many lunches and snacks in the last 3 months and never anything to complain about. A great find. Thank you.

Must admit to never really considering a visit to this cafe before but we were looking for a cooked breakfast and as it was just after 11am nearby alternatives had stopped serving breakfast in favour of lunch items. The Hot Mango serves breakfasts until 3pm.The breakfast menu is wide ranging from 2 slices of toast for £1 to a double full English at £8.50 - all freshly cooked and yummy !Hubby had the big English breakfast and I had the Baby one and we shared a 2 slice portion of toast and a pot of Earl Grey tea which did about 5 cups between us. Coming in at £17 it set us up in grand style for the day. They do a range of sandwiches, snacks and deserts throughout the day

Cosy Cafe providing home cooked hot and cold food.
Although we knew we should have reserved a table at this popular restaurant, a table was found for the three of us and we enjoyed a delicious meal served by a very friendly waitress. There is plenty of parking space and there is a small shop in the restaurant. It is essential to make a table reservation !

This little café is there to be appreciated. Full of trinkets and goods, your eyes wander to the hats and clocks that adorn the walls (as well as some items for sale). But take some time to savour the food on offer and try to resist a cake to follow!! I had the raebit with a veggie topping and wished I had more time for that cake but had to dash. Must leave more time for cake next time. And a gorgeous homemade lemonade too

Sweet Pepper Cafe is a cafe serving food & drinks using only plant-based ingredients. It is a place for food lovers who want to try a different interpretation of popular dishes from our multi-cuisine menu.
I had wanted to try this place for a while. First visit i went with a friend. She had the southern fried mushroom burger which is simply massive. It came with chips and ahe chose the chinese salt n pepper seasoning. I had the 'chicken tikka masala'which was so tasty but i couldnt finish it all. I also had a pina colada bubble shake. Mmm it was all so good i went back two days later with my mum who pulled a face at 'vegan' food initially i wanted to tey the delicious looking chips so i chose those (cajun) with a dish off the starter menu; The gyozas. I loved them with the dipping sauce. So nice. Mum also chose from the starter menu and had the spring rolls with sweet potato fries. She loved everything. I teied the strawberry bubble shake. Really good and made from fresh strawberries..i went back a few days later with a couple of friends. One had the salisbury steak with rice, i had the frankfurter and chinese salt n pepper chips with kendal mint cake tea and my other friend had the shitake pho. All were so delicious. That pho has my name on it for next time!!Lovely owners, friendly staff and the food is just lovely. Very extensive menu in terms of food and drink choices. I will be returning many times

Visited whilst camping at harbour lights.. nice place to sit and watch the water sports, dog friendly and great place to catch the rays only down fall for me was it was abit dirty. The wooden tables needed a clean as they wer very sticky with alcohol and food also needed a good sweep up.. broke the evening up though nipping over for a visit from the camp.

This is a great cafe on the beach at Haverigg. They serve filter and instant coffee and a wide range of teas (including lots of different herb teas) as well as sandwiches, paninis, toasties, jacket potatoes and full meals all served with fresh salads or coleslaw. The mirror shows the latest offers of the day. There are discounts for pensioners and several high chairs for toddlers. There are vegetarian breakfast options too. This cafe caters for everyone. There is a toilet block across the road and plenty of free parking opposite. This is one very friendly place where everything is freshly made - so please don't expect instant food! It is worth waiting for.
