Things to do in Milford on Sea

Formally a Chandlery (Iâm told) this coffee shop is very popular: when we visited the interior was full (and very hot) but the cafe also has half a dozen tables of the side of the harbour outside- and across the road. You initially have to go into the cafe to order and pay and your order is then brought to you, in our case, outside. The coffee was excellent but the service was a little slow because of how busy they were and the waitress apologised about this in advance. There were also quite a few wasps hovering around the outside tables.

Amazing crepes and coffee for lunch great little garden to sit in the sun also homemade cakes and lots of vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options available. They are using local ingredients and staff is very friendly and checking on you. Was my 2nd visit now and will return very soon! Can recommend to everyone.

The restaurant at this garden centre offers great home cooked food, lovely fresh ingredients. You queue up, choose your hot food and give your table number. They then get the vegetables from the kitchen and add these to your chosen meal and bring it to your table. We had venison casserole and it was tender and delicious. You can also get cakes, desserts and sandwiches so plenty of choice. They also serve hot and cold drinks.Prices are reasonable.Toilets are in the garden centre away from the cafe.Another good visit and looking forward to returning.

Family run delicatessen and coffee shop under new management since August 2013.
this place is in an ideal tucked away location and is worth finding. it was acroos the roadfrom where we stayed went there to ask for a takeaway packed lunch for our homeward journey. Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. A wide choice of deli and home made foods/deserts/cakes at very reasonable prices. Quality of everything was high. In good weather nice outside seating for light meals

Busy cafe by day, relaxed restaurant with different atmosphere and menu by night. Remember eating wonderful Mediterranean food on holiday? That's the impression I had when eating their Tagliata. There is nowhere else in the town that produces steak like this. A wide variety of flavours, with mushrooms, salad, bernaise sauce and fries. A very satisfying meal for £19, beautifully presented.

Give this place a wide berth, Muffins Galore should be done under the trade descriptions ! Stale poor quality muffin. Dirty unkempt tea rooms, disgusting toilets with a hand towel that looks like it hasnât been changed for weeks ! and the staff use that toilet ! Uncomfortable seating, poor service I could go on and on, really has nothing going for it, garden nothing special either ! Really is not worth your time going here there are much better establishments close by !

Traditional Tearoom and coffee shop just off the pretty village green in Milford on Sea. Cream Teas and Home Made cakes.
The food is straightforward and tasty enough but the service is unbelievably slow even though the number of tables is limited. We were told 30 minutes for a bowl of soup (after we had ordered) and the couple next to us still hadn't had their meal when we left and they had been waiting nearly an hour!Thank you for your comment. We were extremely busy and did advise all customers when they ordered of the delay. Everyone came in for lunch at the same time You requested your order be moved up the order list as it was straight forward. We normally do this as normal practice. My recollection was your soups were served within 15-20 minutes.

Modern British brasserie in the heart of Lymington serving fresh, local food. Breakfast, brunch and lunch with evening and weekend events.
We went on a Thursday night for a quick meal with friends. The restaurant was surprisingly busy but service was prompt. Menu choices were a little limited but there were a few specials too. Everything we had was nicely cooked and well presented. The vegetarian sharing platter (a starter) was excellent, as was the bread.Wines were reasonably priced too.Worth knowing - tips are preferred in cash as the staff donât receive them if added to a credit card.

Overlooking the Village Green, come and watch the world go by, enjoy a Barista coffee, a delicious thick and creamy milkshake or an Iced Latte, all made to order on the premises. We offer a wide and varied selection of homemade Lunches from £7.00, great s
We like a morning coffee but as our usual place when in these parts is closed on a Monday we tried here. Lucky for us we drove into Milford, found on street parking (many short stay spaces), and on appearance alone walked in. Friendly welcome and prompt service. Coffee pleasant enough as was our choice of cake. Looked and tasted like homemade which is always preferable to the sugary commercially bought alternatives. Although busy good we didnât feel rushed by staff and although we didnât have a cooked breakfast they looked great and good value. We will return to try in future. This is a great cafe, although tiny, in the a central location. A super review, thank you very much, your comments and observations for our little Cafe are very welcome. and perhaps we can earn a 5 "star" rating after you've sampled our very popular Breakfast menu on your next visit..

Cafe serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Also vegetarian food and vegan cakes as well as gluten free cakes and bread
Visited this cafe based on the positive reviews on Trip Advisor and it didnât disappoint. We were lucky in grabbing the last table for four as it was busy on a Saturday afternoon. The menu was extensive with lots of different options, with a good focus on local ingredients too. I wished I could have tried more like the local bacon or sausage sandwich but this time round we went for the Buddha Bowl with halloumi and the smoked salmon bagel. The portions were very generous and the quality of ingredients shone through. It was a little wait but well warranted as our lunches made from scratch. The staff were warm and friendly and the atmosphere was cosy too. Next time I would save room for either one of the cakes or a delicious sounding milkshake. Well worth a visit! We are glad you enjoyed your visit, thank you for your kind comments about the food and service
