Popped in for lunch on a family day out to Conisborough Castle. It was busy as there was a Halloween event on. Staff are friendly. Lots of choice on the menu, particularly for kids. Great to see a baby bowl of mash, veg and gravy. Didn't have to wait too long. Food was fresh. Excellent value for money.

We are a quirky independent coffee shop that prides ourselves in using food from local sources. Our food is fresh and made on the premises. We serve breakfast and lunch Monday to Sunday 9am-5pm. We are fully licensed
Went here for lunch on Friday with my grandad. We hadnât booked however the young lady was very welcoming and found us a table. I had the club sandwich while my grandad had the veggie club sandwich, it came with both crisps and a choice of a side. Lovely lunch, will return soon.

TWEED is a small country coffee shop attached to a butcher's shop owned by the same family. All the produce sold in the coffee shop is fresh from the butchers and cooked to order. All day breakfast is a signature of this venue and always very popular. The
I came to visit tweed with my sister and 3 year old son. From opening the door to leaving I felt so uncomfortable. It all started with opening the door and walking up to a lady who worked there, I said hi do we choose a table or do we wait to be seated as I was unsure if tables had been reserved ect. To get a response so cold and rude. "sit where you want thats if you can find a table". I kind of brushed that off and thought maybe she is just having an off day as we all do. Then to see the two blonde haired ladies who worked there whispering. Slightly rude! I was unsure if we had to book or if this is how she acts with unfamiliar faces. I was unsure of how we order so I decided to go to the counter after sitting at the table for 10 minutes to order,to then see every other person that arrived had there orders taken at the table. I get that it may get busy at times but they had a chance to both stand at the counter whispering and stopped when I looked. We had our lunch served without cutlery but asked another lady who worked there I believe she may have worked in the kitchen she was lovely. Once we had finished our lunch I went up to the counter to ask what flavour a certain cake was and if we could order some please. To be told to wait a minute and then she started to clean up a table. Me and my sister make it a weekly thing to have a catch up at our usual place which is the village teapot in Arksey. But we decided we would try a new place as we was out that side of town! Big mistake would never return. I own my own business and would never dream of acting this way in front of my clients and would hate them to think I had ever been rude or upset them. On a positive note the cake was really moist and very tasty despite this I would not return as a customer due to the poor service we received.Dear Danielle, Thank you for taking the time to review your visit to our Coffee Shop. Even though you have made a special effort to share the poor customer service you claim we provided, I am still always pleased to receive feedback as it is the best tool for improvement. I can see that we are the only Coffee Shop you have taken the time to comment on, in fact the only place you have ever visited and reviewed on Trip Advisor - you obviously donât find time to offer kind words to those small independent establishments which surprises me, especially as you say you are a business owner yourself. You arrived on a very busy lunchtime and although there was an element of dis-orientation for a few minutes as there were no tables immediately available, I recall how we quickly juggled tables to find you a seat. Due to the fact that we were very busy service might not have been as quick as you would have liked it. You did not have to eat your lunch without cutlery, it did arrived immediately after your food rather than before - I am sorry for the short delay, human error and after all, we are all human! We do have a record of being noted for our friendly service and all the previous reviews on Trip Advisor commend us for this - I am not sure how or why it all went so pear shaped for your visit but sometimes things do go wrong and we try hard to rectify the issues. With this in mind, it would have been nice if you had mentioned your distinct dissatisfaction when you were asked, âIf everything was okâ, prior to you leaving - then maybe we could have gained some comfort knowing we had been given the opportunity to try and make things right. For my part, I apologise for your wasted afternoon spent at Tweed and genuinely express my disappointment that you feel the experience was one you would not care to repeat - but on the subject of rudeness, It is hard not to get upset when people make such personal comments about you, which makes me wonder if on this occasion you are possibly the one expressing rudeness.I will park this response now and hope that potential customers read the reviews from other customers enabling them to make a more accurate judgement of our lovely Coffee Shop . . . .but on a positive note - if nothing else, I am pleased you enjoyed your cake x

Was taken to lunch today at the Garden Room. Never been before. Pleasantly decorated with wooden tables and chairs. Tables for 2 upwards. Tables spare when we walked in but quickly filled. Quite noisy with motherâs and children screaming difficult to hear each other at times but as people left it became quieter. Only had a n amazing chicken salad and a drink and the anchovies in it were so tasty. Would visit again with husband or friends if in the area. Easy parking on gravel. One comment would be better signage nearby as we got lost.

Another lovely visit. Tried avocado and courgette cake....beautiful. Believe it's gluten and dairy free. Tastes similar to carrot cake. Really nice. Lovely staff. One thing I noted...some tables needed clearing and were left longer than they ought to be. Otherwise a fab tea room.Thank you for reviewing Deer park farm tearooms again, so glad to hear you enjoyed your cake â¦. it is a good one ! We do try to clear tables as quickly as possible but at busy periods this sometimes falls behind !It's some thing we'll definitely try and look at !Thanks again â¦. from Helen & all the team at Deer park farm.

Cosy hideaway coffee shop in the heart of Wath Upon Dearne. Outdoor seating, log fires and dog friendly.
You have to try hard or catch me on a good day to get top ranking and this little place is well up to standard. We were greeted by three lovely ladies and made most welcome. Toasties and coffee - wish I'd had room for one of their megga mince pies.A cosy atmosphere, fair prices and great staff.Thankyou so much.We hope to see you again soon.

Came here with my friend for a spot of lunch, sheâd recommended it as sheâd been here before but I didnât know what to expect. I was very impressed, I ordered a Cajun chicken wrap and asked for no mushrooms or onions (I canât remember which) and was told it was absolutely fine as it was all cooked fresh. Iâve been to some places before and the veg is already mixed together so isnât possible to do. Thoroughly enjoyed it and was a good price too. After we ordered cake and coffee (well I had a triple chocolate cookie and a cup of tea) very good value for money and would definitely recommend. Weâll be back for sure
