Find out what Cafe restaurants to try in Mestre. While Venice’s mainland suburb of Mestre has a history and character all its own dating back to medieval times, it owes its growth and fortune to its more powerful offshore neighbor. Unfortunately, it’s everything Venice is not: modern, industrial and cheap. But while they may not compare to the romantic canals of Venice, Mestre does have attractions of its own, including the Torre (Tower) dell'Orologio and the Duomo (Cathedral) di San Lorenzo, located on its town square, Piazza Ferretto.

Visited here last week for lunch as it was right next to our hotel, it was very busy and the staff were friendly. Food was ok, we had the spaghetti carbonara as it had become our italian favourite whilst we were touring different cities for 2 weeks, but unfortunately this place doesn't come close to other places we dined in, including resturants and cafes in central Venice. The coffee was nice.

Brunch wants to make you breathe a spontaneous American Style, where every dish and drink from breakfast to dinner incorporates and expresses a healthy originality and creativity to help you live the day in a happier way!
Nothing special, small portions, too expensive for what they offer. No fresh fruit on smoothies (anyway after I complaint, on menu was written fresh fruit but they gave me basically canned orange juice added with ice for six euros, they took off the cost from the bill), bad managing of tables. Live soccer match on tv, so a bit noisy. Not good for a dinner, place for very young people, but good to drink something with friends

We stayed in Venice for 2 nights and this cafe/restaurant was literally outside our hotel. They are open till late night. They have a good selection of food starting from gelatos, pasties, wrap, coffee, pizza and many other options. Their Americano is great and so are their gelato flavours. They gives you a chilli sauce/paste with hot pasties and I loved it.
