Called in for lunch while visiting my daughter who lives in Meaux, friendly atmosphere and we were politley told there would be a wait for food, although this turned up quicker than expected. An excellent Autumn beer was recommended by our waitress as well. Our lunch, a Croque monsier with salmon, and an omlette for my daughter left us full up until the early evening. The rapport with the staff encouraged us to return the following day, where I tried the Plat du jour, a huge tuna steak served with pasta and onions. Once again a good meal and a friendly welcome, my daughter and her flat mate will be visiting there again and i will certainly ensure i go back on my next trip to Meaux

Belle ambiance, on rigole, on joue à des jeux de société, on mange bien, le tout dans un bar à l'ambiance cocooning, on y est comme à la maison ! La petite terrasse est très appréciable durant les beaux jours. J'irais bien tous les jours si j'habitais plus près ;)

It is said if you see a queue for a bakery join it because this probably the best bread in the area, this true for this bakery, and the cakes look great as well

We actually went to their sister location in Coulommiers. Delighted they were still open at 2PM on a Sunday:). Bought bread, baguette, raspberry tart, apple, and chocolate eclair. Didn't know it won the award for best bakery in France in 2014. WOW, I would agree. Ate very small bites to make my tart last:). In a few days we head to Meaux, so already know we will stop at the bakery there. HIGHLY recommend.
