This was the coffee shop I visited every morning for breakfast during my stay in Matsue. They open early in the morning, normally at 7am. It is cozy and you can spend the time thinking about your day. They have set menus, approx. 550 to 650 yen. They give you coffee in a pot and a different cup each time. The cheese toast was my favourite. It comes with a small salad and a tiny sweet dish. My morning routine was a happy one thanks to this coffee shop.

There is one major reason to come here. The duck soba. It is a nice sized serving and tasty (uniquely duck oily) broth. The sweets looked good as well, but we were stuffed from tea a sweets in the castle town.A different spin on soba, it's worth the walk here to try something which is very different.
