Just had a wonderful experience with my family in this cat cafe. The cats are clean, friendly(for cats) and docile. My dad, initially embarrassed because he felt like he was too old to enter the petting area of mostly children, eventually succumbed and went inside to enjoy the catsâ company. Joyce, the owner, is a delight to converse with and her staff equally so as they are attentive and approachable. The person in charge of the cats is patient and knowledgeable and likes to interact with both visitors and his feline charges. The eating space is clean and we liked the food. I especially liked my Iced Coffee using Sagada beans and they use milk in a bottle not the ones in a carton. The cafe also offers some cat related merchandise and all the cats, neutered i think, are up for adoption. Entrance fee, as of this writing , is P199 but its consumable and already includes 1 hour of cat time. I suggest you contact them first ( they replied to my queries quite speedily on FB messenger) to see if there might be an event at the time you want to visit. While I wish the space was bigger, I do like the homey feel of the place and I like that they keep a cat motif around the place - little things like a door with a sign saying Authorized Purrsonel only, or the menu offering Pawstas and Pawninis. I would love if they had a branch in my area so that I could visit again.
After seeing the delectable photos of their desserts on Instagram by foodies, I decided to visit Chubbies Qcina once and for all. It is my mission to sample every new restaurant that opens in Lilac Street, and this one has been there for two years now.I've done some research, and I found out that Chubbies is owned by Ronald Sioson, educated at The Culinary Institute of America (LinkedIn profile: https://ph.linkedin.com/pub/ronald-sioson/64/b1/772). The restaurant is a house, refurbished with chairs, tables, and a bar. They retained some cabinets showcasing some of the owners' travel books and interesting knicknacks.Chubbies' desserts are their main attraction, but since my sister and I were on a budget, but really starving, we opted to get just the carbonara with egg, spicy chicken breast with rice, and mushroom cinnamon soup. We were not disappointed. All of the dishes were nothing I've ever tasted in Marikina. Ronald's expertise shines through even in the simplest of meals. We'll definitely go back to sample the desserts!
We recently discovered this new cafe along Gen. Ordonez Street in Marikina. We gave it a try and was relatively pleased with our initial experience. We ordered two types of pasta - a single order of Pasta Ericka (seafood) and a platter of Pasta Regina (cream-based). Their staff described the platter as good for 2-3 people. We were satisfied with the taste of both orders in general. The single order was quite plentiful; however, the serving for the platter seemed to be too little for 2-3 persons. We still intend to go back as we find the place to be cozy; we also plan to try their breakfast menu. The establishment opens at 8 AM and closes at 11 PM.
What's incredible about DITO is that it hosts various events that promote artists and their different art forms (painting workshops, art bazaars, theatrical productions, among others), and yet the food and service are spot on as well. It has managed to marry and run its advocacy and business side seamlessly.Order the Potato 3 Ways for an appetizer, and be blown away by a monstrous plate of potato chips, fries and waffle cut that can feed a small army (for 200PhP+). Try the pesto, delicious and affordable (under 200), or a rice meal (beef, chicken and fish all represented!). Nothing too pricey on this menu. They have a decent selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-.The place itself is incredibly unique- right now their floors are painted with Van Gogh's The Starry Night, the walls are teeming with artwork by different artists, there's a section where you can pull up a book from the shelf and read, or check for a board game to play with your friends. There is a section of the cafe that is used to mount stage plays, musicals and other performance art events. Several times a year you could catch a show at this place, both classic and one-of-a kind productions.Drop by to appreciate the many things this place has to offer!
An all day brunch and comfort food place that serves brews and booze.
I have been seeing this new resto along Gil Fernando a few weeks back and thought to myself that it could be good to try out their food. Lo and behold, I suggested this place to our school staff since we are celebrating a milestone for our new teachers. Once inside, I noticed the very stylish interiors and a cozy ambiance. It is also good to note that this place can be a good place to go to with a date. Our group ordered their house salad, their half dozen chicken wings with parmesan cheese in garlic-aioli dip, half of their bbq ribs and a platter of osso buco. Everything was delicious! The taste was very good. I would like to say that the chicken wings were impressively tasty. I have tasted some that claimed their wings are this-and-that but to my dismay, they never passed my discriminating taste. The osso buco was yummy as well; the meat was very tender. We ordered different beverages. Mine was the lemon basil coolers, my co-worker ordered their matcha green tea drink (hot), and the rest ordered their different milk teas. These were also winners! The lemon basil cooler was very refreshing! For desserts, we ordered carrot cake, blueberry cheesecake, and chocolate cake. The latter was our fave; it wasn't too sweet and the chocolate was good too.I would definitely come back to try out their other menu, and this time when I come back, I will be taking along my fiance. This place is worth recommending.

I've been patronizing this restaurant for quite a few years now. I've had brunch and dinner here numerous times, and I've never been disappointed with their food and their service. I recommend that you try their seafood chowder, seafood pasta in marinara sauce, and their special pizza. For dessert, I usually order blueberry cheesecake. The food is actually very delicious AND cheap.

I believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day and with the rave that Im getting with this restaurant, we just have to try it. We ordered for squash soup, acai bowl, beef tapa, 3 egg cheese omelet, iced coffee and calamansi juice. It did not disappoint. Definitely will come back as I still want to try a lot more from their menu. The ambiance is laid back, with attentive waiters. Just make sure to bring some insect repellants

Haven't been here for a while. Consistent taste and quality at a very affordable price. With guarded parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean restroom. Great ambiance. They have separate dining space for big family gathering and special occassion. Highly recommended.
