Come in to have yummy food and the best service.
I have mixed feelings for this restaurant. I had a chicken parmigiana there last month and it was amazing. Really! The best you can find around. This always made me want to get back for other dishes. Today I was sick with my stomach and decided to order a simple pasta from them so I could eat here at home. I went for Roman veg fettuccini because there would be no cream or heavy ingredients so it would be good for me. I choose fettuccini out of the choice of paste they have and even put a note in my order to please donât make it spicy (because I know how Italian food is adjusted to Indian taste) but didnât work anyway; this time it was a huge turn down for me. The dish was beautifully prepared but it was not what I ordered, spaghetti instead of fettuccini (which itâs okay but why they ask you to choose if they wonât give you the one you want?), there was cream in the tomato sauce and loads of chilli flakes and black pepper, which I saw as soon as I open the bag. In the first bite I already gave up because I couldnât handle the level of spicyness. When we want a spicy pasta we order Arrabiata, right? No need to make all pasta spicy like that! I canât imagine how the Arrabiata would be then. Frustrated!

Great location and the building has an interesting history. We came for afternoon tea and cake. Ordered the brownie with ice cream. In the menu it said the brownie was sizzling, assumed this was a hyperbole for warm brownie but they actually brought the brownie out on a sizzler! Obviously this burnt the chocolate and melted the ice cream in seconds. Called the waiter over to say it just tastes like burnt chocolate. Waiter was helpful and replaced it with a warm brownie on a plate with ice cream. Suppose it was our mistake for interpreting the menu wrong but what a mad idea to put chocolate and ice cream on a sizzler..!!

Had coffee and snacks (Salads, toasts, sandwiches) in the spacious restaurant with wooden traditional furniture ( may be the building is a century old) and the not so decorated interiors. The Solar cafe being in the Fort Kochi area where we used to go on weekends from early 80's till mid 90's gave us a nostalgic feel. The restaurant on the first floor near the ferry which is not spoiled by modern decor is the right place to have some coffee or tea with a sandwich or toast, also you can go through the collection of selected books kept for the guests. The service is very friendly and the restaurant is easy to locate.

Bakery & Kitchen located in coastal town of Kochi. Specialises in Breads, Dessert & a menu complete with All Day Breakfast, Salads, French Toasts etc.
This restaurant of a minimalist decor, on the fringes of the residential place, Panampilly Nagar, Ernakulam, Cochin, is a pleasant place apt for breakfast, lunch or dinner.I have had a sumptuous breakfast with very good coffee a few months ago. Recently I had dinner too there. The menu is mostly European and American. The dishes were attractive to look at and taste was even better. My grandson, a 12 year-old boy said that the potatoes were a bit undercooked, but tasted good that way. My chicken sandwich served with a lettuce salad was just perfect. The coffee was almost a connoisseurâs delight. The staff were competent but unobtrusive. The service was efficient.

I visited The Sree Muruga Cafe on the way to Nucleus mall two years back and the food seemed to be tasty and the restaurant was crowded with youngsters. They have slightly modified the restaurant and serve Chinese dishes too in addition to the traditional South Indian dishes like biriyani, porotta, chicken dishes, beef roast, masala dosa, ghee roast, Kerala snacks etc. Tasty food and excellent service.

"The Grand Pavilion" At our multi-cuisine restaurant, dine in style on sumptuous Indian, Continental, Chinese or Ethnic fare. The restaurant is legendary for it's authentic Kerala cuisine - in particular, the pearlspot ( Karimeen ) preparations.
Had an excellent vegetarian and non vegetarian meals. The fish curry was very tasty. Very limited side dishes unlike other restaurants. However this places charges exorbitant rate for the fish fry - Rs.650/- for Karimeen and Rs.450/- for Neiymeen. Not worth. Found all people who had enquired about their famous Karimeen Pollichatthu dish shying away from ordering it. Very crowded during lunch hour. The lunch served however was very tasty. Would recommend and if you are not bothered about paying unreasonable price for a fish fry , go ahead and tryit.

This old world longstanding restaurant in the middle of a very busy area retains it charm and simple ambiance. Very good variety of South Indian dishes and good service at very reasonable prices.
