Because I do my own baking, I don't often buy commercial breads. Great Harvest, though, offers what I like: large, dense loaves with interesting additions. The wheat bread with sunflower seeds is something I bake at home, but theirs tastes better! Order a coffee from the front of the storefront, and while it's brewing, go further inside and get a taste of that day's baking! Worth the price.

First time visitor today. Pros: Lovely, charming neighborhood; attractive interior; many great menu options - a diverse vegan menu;Cons: noisy inside (juicer is very loud) so conversation is difficult... opt to sit outside if weather permits; limited seating - plan ahead if your group is >4 (try to arrive when not so busy); several items on the menu were already sold out around noon on Sunday - not a single one of the many pizzas were available and one brunch item was sold out; service was slightly slow. I know everything is hand made but it seemed a long wait, yet it was a busy day (don't let this keep you from going... just try off-peak or bring your patience). Our group was a mix of vegan and non-vegan. Vegans *loved* the black bean burger; both v- and non-v loved the strawberry smoothie; non-vegan liked the vegan Reuben sandwich.

This is one of the coolest eateries I've been too! Fantastic food and incredible service. Simple food made fun and special by little touches. The Onion/Jalapeno Burger is out of this world and so is the Chicken Salad. Even simplest of salads are made special by the delicious dressings. Highly recommend you try this breakfast / lunch spot. You won't regret it!

This is a place I just don't get. No question it is popular. I have been here a couple of times, the latest last week. Never have I had anything better than a mediocre meal. And last time my wife had the Florentine crepe, resulting in her having to spend the rest of the morning in the smallest room of our house. She was very unhappy. It was crowded and the only table we could get was near the door, so that every time it opened we were greeted by a cold draft. Not a good experience. The design is faux-French is intention, but basically it is dark and dingy.Plus, it is one of those restaurants which make you pay a tip before you have had any form of service. Not sure why people put up with this. My last visit.

We had been looking forward to visiting Mauhaus ever since it opened! We reserved our slots for my daughter's first day off after the school year ended, and we were so disappointed! No appealing savory food options, just some average baked goods and potato chips. Despite our reservation, there was no place to sit with our overpriced pastries & drinks because there were so many people inside the space with the cats. A laptop user eventually vacated a 4-top so we could sit, but there was little opportunity to interact with the cats because there were just too many people. 2 younger guests followed the active cats around the space, so when one finally ventured our direction, they moved in and prevented my daughter from being able to pet her. We love the idea of this place, but the execution is extremely poor.

Went to Russell's for brunch on Sunday. The place was somewhat crowded, but only had to wait a half-hour. I had biscuits and gravy, and so did my daughter. Sausage gravy was just spicy enough, biscuits were fluffy and delicious, with a nice runny yolk egg on top. My daughter and I both loved it. My wife had an egg sandwich, she said it was very good.My daughter's friend had flatbread, and it was excellent too. All waitstaff were friendly and professional. We all shared a huge cinnamon roll as an appetizer. Also excellent.Definitely recommend this restaurant.

A New Mexico themed diner. Interestingly, it is on Southwest Avenue. Their slogan is something like, A taste of the Southwest on Southwest.
After hearing great things about this place, decided to stop in for breakfast, my oh my am I glad that I did. Wow, is their food on point. Everything was truly incredible and well with the wait! The place is small and busy, but please wait and try it, youâll be hooked just like I am.
