Things to do in Manukau
Have been here several times and found it pleasant in its location, food service and food, the menu items are extensive and the food is resonably priced.Always seems full with people and has a resonable amount fo tabels and chairs so you can always get a set and not have to wait....
I popped into this venue to have a quick bfast with my mum, as we were doing our laundry washing from across the other side. I purchased me a medium size cup cereal with fresh fruits, so I thought i was buying and a apple crumble tart. The yoghurt was watery and strawberries soggy and tasted off, and the cereal was stale. The apple crumble was even soggy as well. I went back to counter with my item I purchased and explain to the Asian girl of my dislike. She explain that the food preparation is done a day ahead, and the fruits are frozen......she offer a refund, I asked instead for a cuppa latte. At this time I was feeling nausea, so I ended up leaving very quickly......Change you signs out side, its not a reflection of the food inside....
The service is very good, friendly front of house. We generally go on the cheap nights, they do reduce portion size on those nights (I get the chicken fettucine or the lamb shank). The shank was pretty good and tender, I had to wonder though...how is this braised over 2 hours shank given to me in 15 minutes? Is it a re-heat? Unsure. All in all very good, modestly priced for a wholesome meal in quiet surroundings.

A lovely meal with fantastic service! Will definitely be back again! The location is perfect - very close to the train station. Beautiful fresh food, especially fish. The staff are friendly and very well trained. Highly recommended.
Found ourselves (unfortunately) at Manukau on Saturday of Easter weekend - not recommended! Struggled our way through sweaty bodies, long lines of customers, screaming babies .... All waiting for the usual suspects of the NZ food hall suppliers. Said to hubby 'there must be something better than this - I need some fresh air to think' and so escaped to the motorway side of the shopping centre. Quiet! Fresh air! And to our surprise, we found a very nice, tidy, clean, trendy looking cafe out on the 'roadside'. We ordered the fish and chips and the sweet potato hash. Just lovely. The hash had crispy kumara, caramelised onions, chorizo, corn, fried egg and fresh avocado. Fish and chips were good (think you can probably find an even better frozen fish fillet if you kept looking), but good chips and even a lovely side salad. We asked for a coke and ginger beer, and how refreshing to have them served to us with a glass! Good work guys. Great service, friendly welcome and overall a really wonderful experience. We have many years experience in the hospitality industry, and you wowed us. Keep it up! (Try and find another alternative to the fish and you guys will just fly!)
This is a small cafe but clean and neat. For $9 you can eat as much as you want for 30 minutes etc. the food tastes really good with very friendly staff. Not sure if they make profit though with the price plan they have. If you love Fiji Indian food then you have to check out this place
We visited Manukau recently and popped in at Rococo for lunch. We found the special menu very reasonably priced so chose that. Coffee was excellent and the meals tasty, more than enough and the service friendly and reasonably quick. We found the array of sweets in the shop very tempting! Will definetly be back

Didn't have time available to eat here but someone told me the coffee was great, so I took a10 minute coffee break. After resisting the delicious looking treats I enjoyed my coffee and the friendly vibe.I'll pass on the recommendation and if I'm back in the area I'll try some good next time.
