Located in the picturesque Macedon ranges in the town of Woodend, we are a licensed café offering beautiful breakfasts, lunches to linger over, as well as an assortment of fabulous gourmet foodstuffs to stock your pantry at home. We also have an incredibl
MH was sold recently from the original foodie owner and sadly, as often occurs, the new owner disappoints. I had Croque Monsieur and my guest the Pastie. Pastie, dry, plain, bland. CM simply terrible. Tough cheese grilled on toastSee pics. Letâs hope it was a one off. Had I been asked how it was would have said so, was not asked.

Stopped in for an early coffee and breakfast on the run. Ordered a takeaway ham cheese tomato toasted sandwich. Coffee was good, nice and strong. Toastie was great. Plenty of filling and large sized bread

Our family have visited the Gisborne Bakery and Cafe a few times now for lunch. Located in central Gisborne, parking is easy within the Gisborne Village shopping precinct. The bakery is still relatively new and country style decor within make it a new place to call in for a bite to eat and a drink. There's a fair bit of room inside to get a table. We've tried the pies, sausage rolls and pasties which are fresh and quite tasty. Their slices are also quite good. Prices are reasonable as well.Overall, a family favourite of ours to visit.

Jedâs in Gisborne is a comfortable, informal spot with tasty brunch/lunch menu, the restaurant moved from a funky crowded space to a larger more austere premises. I prefer the former location for its atmosphere. I loved the scrambled green eggs which was scrambled eggs with a healthy twist, otter go-to dishes include the avo smash and breakfast menu.

The 3 Little Pigs is a busy and popular cafe. We enjoyed great coffee and good service. We sat outside as the weather was great but inside the cafe it is spacious and not too noisy. There was a good array of light food and cakes. I also loved the idea of the book exchange.

Friends & I regularly meet at Canteena, after our tri-weekly walks. Coffee, tea & cakes go down extremely well! Staff are always most welcoming & caring of patrons. All these qualities, & the ambience, make Canteena one of our best local spots.I can also recommend the lunches - worth frequent returns! The restaurant opens on Friday & Saturday evenings, & I've thoroughly enjoyed my few dinners Thank you Ian for reviewing Canteena. We are greatly thankful for your appreciation of the overall dining experience. Your positive comments have been shared with the team. We look forward to seeing you soon. Best Regards, Manager

This bakery is run by very friendly and helpful people. While they sell breads, cakes and quiches for home consumption, they also sell things for dining in or to take away for lunch or a snack. They have things likes pies, pasties, and sausage rolls and will make up sandwiches. I chose to dine in with a sandwich and a coffee. The coffee was fairly ordinary, but my cheese and salad roll was excellent. The roll and salad items were very fresh, of generous proportions, and inexpensive. Well worth a return visit.

Made an early start out of Melbourne en route to visiting Hanging Rock in Central Victoria. Had reports about the Trading Post as being a good spot for breakfast. We were not disappointed. Excellent coffee served along with tasty reasonably priced food. Would certainly stop in again if in the Mt Macedon area. Also a great selection of local produce and gift ware including olive oil, wine, honey and toiletries etc.

We took my 87 year-old Father-in-Law here for a luncheon catch-up with my hub and daughter. The food was excellent. All dishes were delicious, but I was most impressed by the BLT bagel my FiL had, with such a generous amount of gorgeous crispy bacon. Very happy with the manager, one of two, I think. I felt like they genuinely care about their business and love what they do. The wait staff are slim, tattooed and groovy. The peanut butter and chocolate slice I shared with my daughter was super delicious. We all left very happy, as even though my FiL was out-of-place age-wise, he was definitely not made to feel that way and he really enjoyed it. My teen also enjoyed her 'Blue Heaven' milkshake!
