This is a nice little cafe with good food and a play area for the children. This cafe has a range of sandwiches and cakes as well as a selection of cooked meals.Tea, coffee and soft drinks are on offer.Thank you !55richard. We also roast our own coffee, make our own bread, use organic milk and extra virgin olive oil and a host of other things to make your eating here good for you as well. With a 200 square meter cafe area makes it one of the biggest cafe's around and gives everyone some elbow room. Best regards Michael

Breakfast here with my three pre-teen nieces was a success. Each of them were given their own mini menu to choose their meal from. They enjoyed their fluffy pancakes and fluffies. My sister and I opted for potato cakes and scrambled eggs. The service was great.

We visited Buzz for their famous hot chocolate for the #sweetaschallenge. The hot chocolate was so creamy and thick. The build your own hot chocolate was awesome, so many incredible toppings - buzz bars, pretzels, marshmallows (all sizes), chocolate fish, chocolate hearts, mints, chocolate/nuts/fairy sprinkles, cream, sauces and much much more! We also topped this off with some yummy nachos and chicken focaccia. Such friendly service, they owner stops and chats to you. Such a lovely family run business, go along and enjoy the yummy food and friendly service. The cabinet food also looks damn good!

I went to Bellbird for breakfast with some friends. We were able to sit outside which was lovely. I had the avocado smash which was delicious- lots of avocado with some nice balsamic, pea shoots and dukkah. My friends had poached eggs with bacon. They said the eggs were delicious but slightly over cooked.Nice coffee.Popular place for breakfast.

I'm an ex Petone girl who's been living and working in Melbourne for the past 10+ years. Both hubby and I love catching up with Faith and Piers (and their delectable venue and menu) when we are back home. Just do it if you haven't already. Such a cool place to eat, meet and greet.

The Adzuki Bean is the love bean. In ancient times, a man went away to war. His wife waited for him under a big tree on a high mountain. Till he returned, she missed him so much her flowing tears turned to blood. The bright blood drops became red seeds, a
We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The individual beef Wellington is a standout. Also highly recommended are the tiger prawns, the chowder and, when available, the whitebait omelette. Fully licensed and BYO. The staff are clued up and very friendly.

From the moment you step through our door, you will feel like you are in Italy. A unique combination of a Restaurant, Cafe and Retail shop, La Bella Italia in Petone, Wellington was born from director Antonio Cacace's passion to educate Kiwis about the be
I am Italian, this was our go to place in Welly. In the last couple of years it has gone downhill, the food claims to be Italian but the food is of sub standard and the service is slow, not great with children.Hi Chiara, You came on the 2nd of June to celebrate Italian National Day. La Bella Italia was full of children on that evening. We are renowned for being excellent with children. That night Lilian, one of our best waitresses, attended your table. We get so many compliments from customers regarding her manner with everyone, especially with children. You came in around 5.30pm and left at 7.15pm. We had 140 people booked plus walk in customers. In the last two years La Bella Italia has received a number of awards for the authenticity of the food and the experience we offer. When the staff who was on that night read your review, they were quite saddened as they remembered you fondly - how you greeted them at arrival and leaving. At the till you were asked if everything was okay and you did not say anything to the contrary. To finish: You are Italian, we are Italians too and we work hard everyday to offer a true Italian experience to everyone who walks through our door. We are very proud of the authenticity La Bella Italia is known for.

Awesome cafe and what a great place to meet for lunch. If coming from Wellington it is only a 20 min train ride to Petone.Set on the esplanade with fantastic views of Wellington and inside the setting is like a seaside arcade. There are booths which provide intimacy or you can be seated at tables. They offer tantalising cabinet food and menu food. This cafe is always buzzing and the staff are friendly and the coffee is excellent. The decor is set out like an arcade With memorabilia. The weekends are busy so you need to get in early as the breakfasts are legend. So instead of having lunch in Wellington, take the train you wonât regret it.
