A lovely delicatessen and cafe situated in the old part of town. All our fillings, cakes, quiche, soups and salads are made here on site by Ryan, Karen and Beverley. We serve very good coffee, using beans from Edgecumbes in Arundel and more importantly, a
Third or fourth visit for quick takeaway.Midhurst is an attractive, prosperous, small Sussex town with history and charm, and a gateway to the South Downs.Service impeccable, quick, charming, efficient. My egg and bacon baguette, on one occasion, was cooked just the way I asked, just the way I like it, and you might be surprised to learn that, in my extensive experience, something so standard can be ruined by indifference, incompetence, or practice all too prevalent in this country. Not here it's not!Food: clearly quality fresh ingredients, generously-filled and fairly-priced, and tasty, very very tasty.Cappo: excellentThey obviously know what they are about, and it shows. You might also be tempted by their array of biscuit tins, honey, and other similar delights. If only others could get their act as together as Comestibles have theirs!See you again, hopefully, when I'm passing.

Lovely welcome by friendly staff, good service and nice surroundings.Priced reasonably and lots of choice.Cake was lovely and fluffy, I wouldâve preferred a slightly stronger flavour of coffee in my coffee cake, and the flat white was more like a latte. But this was just a preference, but perfectly adequate.

Although I have visited the Chocolate Frog several times ,it was the first time I had been for an afternoon tea. There were 13 of us celebrating the 90th birthday of family twins. There were plenty of sandwiches ,beautiful warm scones ,cream and jam plus a choice of small cakes .In addition the tea was served in lovely china teapots, and attractive china plates. The staff were very attentive, making sure we had a good supply of tea and were quite happy to provide bags for uneaten sandwiches and cakes. There was more than enough to eat .

The Turtle Bean Cafe is the perfect place to meet and enjoy a very fresh atmosphere whether youâre just meeting friends or walking. They also have an outside area if youâre a dog walker or like to sit in the sunshine.

The dilapidated, trashed home right next to the Starbucks is frequently broken into for drug parties police. Starbucks is too cheap to buy/renovate the property and so the drive through though convenient, remains a negative experience. Go elsewhere. Cistas in Cobham perhaps?

I have thought hard about writing my first review that is critical of a local business, but the idea here is to be honest and open to other users about your experiences. I hope that as well it gives indications to owners of how their business is perceived by the public who are paying to eat at their establishment.Sorry guys, this was a most dreadful experience. Having looked online for a local tearoom, Daisy's impressive website and gallery promised just what we wanted. To quote - Follow the smell of freshly baked croissants and mouth-watering cakes and you'll find us no doubt! - well the only smell I found was far from the smell of fresh baked cakes. It was not a welcome smell, my other half things it was burnt toast, but to me it was worse than that. Maybe that should have been the clue to leave, however we stayed to give benefit of the doubt. A mistake, I should have taken further hints when I used the loo to find enough dust in the room to make some people sneeze for a week. I kept quiet on this as my other half was bring me here for a treat! After a wait of over half an hour, the food that arrived was a million miles from the images on the website. Whilst apologies were offered for the delay, what arrived at the table was a bigger disappointment than the wait. My bacon sandwich arrived on brown, staling bread, what we used to call a smiling sandwich as the edges curled upwards in a 'smile' due to very dry crusts. Not enough bacon inside to cover the bread, bacon barely warm. And OH, I asked for white bread. I took this straight back to the counter and said I was not happy and did not want a replacement. - Blame was laid firmly on the shoulders of 'new staff'.Going back to our table my partner said he was sorry, his breakfast was cold, and so it was. The bacon looked dried out and recooked, but was stone cold. The toast was cold and sparsely buttered, the tomato was uncooked, the mushroom, which had a pat of butter was uncooked as the non melting butter testified, there was no heat or warmth to the sad thing. No black pudding as per the menu and soggy hash browns.I took this back as well, and said we could not eat this as it was not acceptable, again new staff took burden of blame. When we asked for the bill for the tea, they wanted to charge us for the extra hot water we had asked for, the breakfasts having taken so long we had downed the original pot of tea way before breakfast was in sight. Sorry readers, but I refused to pay the extra for the hot water (no extra teabag or milk). Please, if you have new staff, watch what is coming out of the kitchen, warm plates should be used not stone cold ones. The manager should oversee what is produced, not blame new staff. And please, do not try to claw back lost revenue by saying you need to charge for hot water. I don't know what is happening here, but this is not the experience I was expecting and I cannot image how they can offer outside catering when they cannot turn out a bacon sandwich and a full English..

Lunch visit with family as I had been in a while ago and enjoyed it . This visit was actually better than the last even though my last visit was brilliant . Just ordered something different and really enjoyed it more. Nan had small breakfast which was perfect and well cooked , I had omelette with ham mushroom and cheese with a side salad and fries and was the best omelette I think Iâve ever had and thatâs pretty epic also my mother had a jacket potato with bacon and mushrooms and salad which she said was so tasty. Recommend this place to anyone thatâs in the area to have a nice sit down lunch or breakfast . Nice little village aswel
