This is a brand new café located in the quickly-growing city centre of Lillestrøm (10 min train-ride from Oslo/12 min from Gardermoen airport.) They serve excellent locally-burned coffee, and have a varied menu with different sorts of sweet pastries, tee and sandwiches.It is quite small, but has a few seats available both inside and outside.

This appears to be a family run outfit. There was only 1 person who spoke reasonable English, but the service was warm and they tried to accommodate. Other plus points: food is reasonably priced, and they open early compared to the other eateries nearby. One part of the menu was in English. They do take outs too. Sometimes they may close for private events in the evening.

We stopped by this place for a bite to eat on our trip through Lillestrøm and had the most amazing food. Good prices and the staff was very welcoming and friendly! If you are ever in Lillestrøm and feeling hungry, you should definitely stop by!

Kaffebrenneriet på Strømmen Storsenter ligger faktisk slik til at det er en liten getaway fra «stresset» på senteret ellers. Dette kunne de gjort betydelig mer ut av, lagd en enda bedre stressfri sone. De har ikke helt fått det til. Den er OK og som andre Kaffebrenneriet-steder. Kaffen er OK og litt godt til. Men få gode steder å sitte. Og de kunne hatt bedre utvalg av kopper. De store bollene blir litt tungvinte i lengden.Men potensialet er der.
