Reviews on Cafe food in Leipzig, Saxony, Germany. It’s always hard to fill the shoes of someone who used to do your job very well. If you’re the choirmaster at St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, guess whose shoes you have to fill? Bach’s. (No pressure.) Leipzig is closely connected to classical music—Wagner was born here, and Mendelssohn established a conservatory here in 1843. If you’re more of a melancholy, contemporary type, visit during the Wave-Gotik-Treffen, billed as the world’s largest "dark" (Goth, industrial, punk, etc.) music festival.

This is a lovely spot on Karl-Heine Strasse, great for people watching and sitting outdoors when the weather is good. Good selection of Italian goodies, lovely bread with Antipasti, highly recommended.

Welcome to the Tiziano. Good and fresh Italian food. Good coffee and Italian pastry shop. Every day new creations to bite ...
As an Italian, I'm grateful to have Tiziano in Leipzig. I tried pizza, different kinds of tarts and wine and they were delicious, just like the ones my mom would do - and I can tell you she's an amazing cook :) crostata (Italian tart with jam) was one of the best I've ever had. I also like the place a lot, cozy and nicely decorated. Also, Tiziano and his staff are super friendly and attentive. Strongly recommended!

I have spent three days in Leipzig because of the fair. This hidden nice place is in the same building as Leipzig Apartmenthaus. Perfect coffee, tasty breakfast and delicious simple food. The green salad with mushrooms, cashew nuts and chicken stripes was amazing. Very symphatic owners.

Started good with good pasta, excellent pizza (jummy) and good service. On a crowded day they lost it - and follow up and dessert service crashed for them. Sorry - for this IS a good spot. Bit leave the guests and you will loose it all. Sorry!

This is a classy French-style brasserie which has a beautiful interior and long opening hours and friendly, efficient staff. We came just after 8am for breakfast and it was already becoming busy. It is very popular both with locals and tourists alike. The locals sit out on the pavements day and night! You probably should book for lunch or dinner or if a large group. The choice for breakfast is amazing, but you can simply have a croissant, jam, butter and a coffee for â¬6.80. They do lovely omelettes. It is a bit pricey but we felt it was well worth it. It is open from 8am until midnight Monday to Friday, and 9am until midnight on Saturday and Sunday.
