Excellent choice of delicious pastries when we popped in this morning and all sorts of lovely things to eat in or take away. We bought some of the bread baked on site to take home. Coffee gorgeous too and organic! Great ethics very popular and very friendly team.

Painters of Sudbury is a traditional cafe with a modern country feel. We offer a mix of breakfasts, lunches and cakes along with our daily homecooked specials. We also offer stunning afternoon teas with homemade scones and sandwiches along with parties. C
The perfect breakfast and lovely staff. Particularly generous "extras" (avocado, halloumi, etc.) and the coffee is strong and plentiful. Sit in the courtyard garden if there's room.

Went with a friend for breakfast on his recommendation. Amazing! Huge plate of food served piping hot to the table, fresh coffee and toast. This was not the biggest one either! If you want a proper Full English that literally sets you up for the day this is the place to eat. Staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended.

This is a child free zone, and despite the fact that we like well behaved children, it makes for a relaxed time while eating breakfast, lunch or brunch. Newspapers available along with many cookery books to pursue while waiting if you don't want to chat with your companions. Food is very good and well presented - absolutely delicious.

We went for a walk in Medford country park and came here for feeding and watering. Wide range of cakes, we had cream tea. The owner came out into the garden to see how we and if we enjoyed the food and drink, we really enjoyed our visit. :-)

Tea Rooms
We visited for the first time yesterday for a drink and light snack. The food was of a good standard, well presented and reasonably priced. However, the male serving/cooking (owner) was surly and not very welcoming. Well sir, we are local and wonât bother coming back because of your demeanour. You can be that way with tourists but who will sustain your business out of season? Please try harder with your customers. Your food has so much to offer!

We went to Munnings Tea Room on Saturday afternoon, and we had the best cream tea that we have every had. Hand made scones, which were warm, delightful jam and clotted cream. The staff were warm and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. What amazed us, and it shouldn't, was the offer of extra water for our tea pot, to eak out another cup or two. Who does that these days??? The best £15 spent for a long time.

Booked in advance we have a prime table by the window. Afternoon tea was beautiful with a choice of several different kinds of scones baked beautifully by the owners Mum who was also there. The lemon curd scones were our particular favourites. Very friendly, good value and beautiful food. I would highly recommend it. Dear jenny945Thanks so much for your review of your recent afternoon tea at Lavenham Blue Vintage Tea Rooms. I am delighted you enjoyed your visit and of course the lemon curd scones!
