As with most Malaysian cafes, Lebak offers a mixture of Malaysian and Western food. The `nasi goreng seaweed' is an interesting take on the common nasi goreng (fried rice). It is fried rice with pieces of dried seaweed, which gives it a different taste. The fish & chips is a good portion with 2 pieces of fish. Not your typical british fish & chips, but it has a nice batter anyway. The grilled fish is also good. For dessert, there's nutella cheesecake or mango chessecake. Both, delicious.Prices are reasonable.
The coffee are superb, and Vanilla Latte is my favourite. My kids love Spaghetti Carbonara the most with the one with Salmon is generously fill with it. The chicken chop also very juicy with generous portion

LOTENG CAFE TELUK CEMPEDAK Beach Cafe by the sea. Food, Cakes, Ice-Cream & Drinks. Open Daily : 12pm - 12am (Weekdays) ; 12pm - 1am (Weekends)
Went there for drinks and the mini icecream cheese cakes. We chose King Durian and mangoes. Awesome cakes. We sat on the upstairs and could see people enjoying themselves at the beach. The most fun activity to watch was a group of five youngsters surfing - we admired their patience, waiting for the right wave, waiting at the right spot.
This place is along the main road in Kuantan, can be easily missed, but you won't miss the amount of cars parked there in the evening, they are surely not short of customers. Tried their chicken chop, it was nicely deep fried, with nice fries and plenty of vegies. Cakes were nice as well, not to be missed. The place was nicely designed, even though can get noisy in the evening, can try to use sound absorbing material around the place.

We came over here for a quick lunch. 2 servings of steam salted fish with chicken rice, a curry chicken nasi lemak and a plate of chee cheong fun....all yummy! Servings were relatively big. Together with 4 drinks/ desserts, it only made a RM30+ hole in my pocket. Its a great place to have lunch inside this air conditioned restaurant to get away from the mid day heat and humidity.Just make it here...you wont be wrong!!

Coffee was excellent. I had 2 cups. They have the MOST fresh crunchy petai ever. We had that fried with squid. Yummy! We tried some keropok and kuihs too. And ordered half boiled eggs and toasts. Bought black coffee in sachets. Pity they donât see coffee with creamer no sugar; only 3 in 1. Thereâs a little tuck shop in the cafe. Makes it convenient for customers to shop while eat!

Was in Kuantan for the weekend and glad I came here. Nice selection of food and coffee. Good portions, reasonable price (at least compared to KL) and nice environment. Small play area for our toddler was also nice.
Here in Micasa Cafe, we brew with pasion, and cook with love, just hoping you find yourself comfort and peace, in this city of Kuantan. Kuantan, a lovely town that stays in a moderate scale: not over urbanised to be too hectic, but not too under develop t

Very unique place with many curiosities on display from numerous CocaCola bottles to Art books. Very nice and welcoming staff. Noteworthy was the mood lighting, some of which were morphing colours, and the comfortable tablesâ and chairs. The menu has a few nice mains, but no deserts, except for a jelly dish. I choose the steak and was not disappointed. It was rather thin, but nicely cooked to medium rare as i like it. It came with a bowl of delicious Asian inspired pepper sauce, a green salad and a side of potatoes. Not a huge meal, but healthy (IMHO) and tasty.Must report the cafe is very noisy, located on the main street with french doors wide open, so avoid peak jam times or you won't be able to have a conversation. The miner birds in the tree are a good competition to the traffic noise at dusk :)Best is the opportunity for a nice after dinner walk along the lit up river promenade that is just about across the road.
