Things to do in Kuala Terengganu
Located a bit outside the city, about 15 mins. on foot. Outside tables available, but service was slow when sitting outside. No alcohol is served here.Minus: Staff does not pay so much attention to cleanliness - e.g. cutlery is placed on the table (that hasn't been wiped) directly, not on a napkin.Prices acceptable - we paid about 12 Euro for Mee Goreng, Pepper Steak and two fresh fruit juices.
We serve Vietnamese styled coffee and bread coupled with your choice of eggs or chicken/meat curry and soup.
If you are Vietnam Coffee Lover, then you should try this place, a combination of bread and curry chicken just perfect match.
Drop by to have a quick breakfast before go back home, found out the coffee shop is so clean with good seating arrangement and good lighting atmosphere. Plenty local peoples dine along. Their services is good and quick. Can try their 'Kaya Butter Roti Bakar" which is not bad. The kaya is not sweet and the toast of the bread is just nice. Suitable for family or group to dine at there. Price is reasonable.

This restuarant is part of the Asia Signature Hotel, but is also a popular eatery with locals. The menu has a good variety of mostly asian food and so far the dishes we've tried have all tasted great. The sweet and sour chicken was delicious, The down side is the service, each time we've been they have been really slow with at least 1 meal. It's not good when everyone at the table doesn't get served together and one person has to wait a long time. With improved service this would get a 5 rating.
This is cafe at the ground floor of the Suite 18 boutique hotel. Opens at 8am (pity not at 7am) and serves nice coffee. Has a decent menu and also some local favourites. Awesome if you wanna come here and have a quiet meal and enjoy some local food without walking all over the place. It is also reasonably priced (you also get a discount if youâre a hotel guest at Suite 18).
Variety of cheesecake
Exquisite cakes, best mango and strawberry cheesecake I've had in a long time! I also tried Bombolini, which texture was super soft and filled with delicous nutella chocolate. The owner was also very nice. Must visit if you find yourself in Kuala Terengganu! Thank you so much for dropping by. Hope u enjoy your trip in Malaysia
Best restaurant in Terengganu town. Very central location, convenient to reach. The moment you stepped inside you will definitely feel the welcomed. The space is well designed with airy and filled with natural light. The museum space is decorated with various antiques from salvaged palace doorways to brass and many wooden heritage local arts and crafts. Best of all the food are delicious, coupled with the well trained service staffs. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is great! Try the squid steam with soup, and also the laksam. Tuka grilled is also quite nice! The location is just opposite of waterfront and the ambience is nice. At the back its connected to Chinatown! Considering that its somehow a fusion, i am well statisfied with the food!

The Vinum Xchange is a restaurant situated right at the heart of China Town, where you could enjoy beers, wines & coffee under one roof. We serve Western & Chinese foods. Closed on every Tuesday.
A great spot for western food in KT, especially when it comes to a western breakfast. Serving some of the best coffee we have had in Malaysia, and the tastiest muffins that come heated up! Really friendly and attentive staff. One of our favourite places to eat in KT. Can thoroughly recommend!
