This is a roadside restaurant that´s been around for many many years... old highway used to pass here in the steep hill. Nowadays it´s very popular place to eat your lunch. Hearty classic Swedish food in generous portions served with a smile. Guests come from all walks of life. Best seats are outside in good weather to enjoy the spectacular view of the ocean and coastline.

We took a table outside in the small cozy yard. Metal furniture was a little disapointing for me. We ordered herring, the lamb and salat with shrimps. Everithing was tasty. The lamb was especially perfect. These 3 dishes cost for us 420 SEK.

Well-known (in Norrköping) bakery Landerholms has opened a bakery shop and café in Norrköping's old industrial environment. The place is great if you want to slip in for a light lunch or a cup of coffee with pastries. Unfortunately, the pastry I ordered was not quite fresh. Hence my opinion that the place is OK but no more.

We went to Paus for lunch and chose the salad bar for 105 SEK, where you can choose from 5 ingredients plus leaf salad, tomatoes and cucumbers. The ingredients are high quality, including prawns, crab meat, bacon, avocado and chicken. Portions are very generous, and lunch includes bread, spreads (i.e. humous, tapenada), a softdrink and coffee. It was quite busy, probably because Paus is one of the few places in Norrköping still offering this type of lunch with extras for around 100 SEK. Most of the other places have either gone out of business or hiked their prices, so it is good to see that Paus is still going strong.

Vi bestämde oss för att ta en fikapaus enbart för att det såg så mysigt ut när vi gick förbi. Mycket bra beslut. Just när vi kom var det rätt många i kön och tjejen i kassan var för tillfället ensam men kämpade på bra för att hinna med och ändå vara trevlig. Mycket mysigt ställe men kaffet var svagt.
