HAGISO is the "Micro Cultural Complex" renovated from 58 years old wooden apartment. We have cafe, art gallery, hair salon, atelier, design office. In cafe, we have dishes and alcohol as well.
I tried to get a table several times before finally picking a quiet(ish) time to visit. It's just off the busy street in the Yanaka district which I believe is known as cat alley, and a few doors from a shaved ice place that always has a long line outside the door.I'm a sucker for a cafe that has books available to read and this one does... Albeit in Japanese. It also has art installations, cosy corners and an interesting menu. I had a purple sweet potato muffin which was warm and delicious and an excellent coffee. The fact that it's seemingly always busy is an indication of how good it is.

The Ninja Cafe and Bar should be on everyoneâs list of places to go in Japan. My son, Max, said that he had the best time ever. The owners are kind and great fun. They made my son feel like real ninja teaching him terms and moves. Because of this experience, my son ate all the food no matter how unfamiliar. As we were leaving, he asked when we could come back to Japan. Japan is an amazing country. Ninja Cafe captures all of the wonders and fun of Japan. It was the height of my donâs experience in Japan and a place we will return to for years to come. I highly recommend Ninja Cafe and Bar to families, kids, and those who seek wonder and a friendly environment. Thanks Shazia, Max and papa for coming to our Cafe! You are our first customer after grand open! And thank you for your cooperation and hope you guys come back again...!

Nice Western-style breakfast near Asakusa metro station. Somewhat inefficient but friendly service (waited for 15 minutes for a table even though several tables were available). Decent avocado toast (bread not toasted though). Nice coffee and great croissant. Overall I recommend this place if you do not want sushi for breakfast and want to experience a pleasant twist to a traditional western brekkie.

AIN SOPH. Soar, vegan restaurant. Part of AIN SOPH. vegan restaurant group. Serves plant-based lunch, dinner, and dessert. Children-friendly.
Came here for dinner, great atmosphere and service, between us had a burger and a curry and a side of fried chicken. All delicious but the winner was the dessert - the matcha parfait âbest flavours of japanâ Sundae. Super yummy and entirely vegan, would definitely recommend!

24 hour open cafeteria & restaurant with multilingual staff and menu. We offer international dishes as well as Japanese ones. Vegetarian dishes and Muslim friendly menu are also available. Free WiFi, child chairs, diaper changing restroom available.
Incredibly hospitable staff, who were helpful with every need we had - including phones with 4G, charger converters, and booking fun day trips. The shared bathrooms and cafe were always kept in tip-top shape by the daily cleaners, as were the quaint bedrooms. There was always enough space and the tatami mats were very comfortable.Would highly recommend this hotel for all english and non-english speakers staying in Japan.Dear guest,Thank you very much for staying with us and your feedback! We are very happy that you seem to have fully enjoyed our hotel and Japan. Also we are relieved you felt comfortable sleeping on tatami mat, which some guests find it a bit hard to sleep well.We never be reluctant to make effort for further improvement. please see another chance to back to Japan. And let us tell you more about Japanese tips.We look forward to that time. Thank you again for this time!

So... Ikebukuro is not very well known compared to Akihabara. But it also has a lot of anime and manga, but it is targeted towards women instead. This turned out to be in our favour, because ikebukuro is not as packed as the maidreamin cafe's in other places. We were served by Mina and Juno, they were really nice to us! It was a great time, with music, dancing, and tasty deserts. We even got pictures taken. This was the best service we ever had from a cafe. It's a bit pricey, but that is to be expected from a theme cafe.

This was my first visit to a maid cafe so I wasn't sure what to expect. The decor here is fascinating if a little creepy (it's a very gothic look). The maids were friendly and performed an amusing ritual to make the food and drinks taste better. Perhaps it worked - my matcha parfait was delicious.

We stumbled upon this off-the-beaten-path cat cafe while exploring the Yanaka section of Tokyo. Inside is a study in Japanese organic minimalist decor with mellow cats as an added attraction. They wander freely among guests and on the overhead cat walk. Service by the Italian (surprise!) owner is warm and prompt. Food is good but pricey for what you get. We had iced matcha (green tea with milk) - delicious - with a couple of small snack plates (focaccia and pickled vegetables). Recorded smooth jazz added to the laid back atmosphere. This was a welcome change on a warm afternoon from the crushing crowds of the neighborhood by our hotel.

A wide selection of simple tasty food - this hotels cafe is a small gem hidden in Tokyo. We went there to get gluten free food due to my daughters allergy - and they only have a green salad. This is Sakura Hotel Jimbocho. Thank you for your review and comment. When it comes to food, it is true that gluten free menu is likely to be quite limited. However, we have various of kinds of drink menu as well and it would be highly appreciated if you stop by for tea break or in any occasion when you come to Jimbocho again. Thank you.

Maid cafe
Visited as part of a group, you wear cat ears and have different drinks, strange place to visit but most enjoyable and would visit again if chance arose.
