Very good service and very clean throughout. Modern but cosy. Cakes and coffee are of a high standard. Cakes are very good if too sweet. Cream is unfortunately not thick whipped cream but light and sprayed though not sweetened. Savoury food looked good and locals were out in force. It is on the edge of the centre and worth finding.

Very friendly staff who looked after our large group very well. Food was hearty as you would expect and yes it was dear but in line with other restaurants in the region. Stopped here twice and both times were nice and relaxed. Made some changes to standard menu to facilitate a vegetarian amongst our group with no fuss and even reduced the price too. Good hot chocolate!

We happend to pass at lunch time and decided to have lunch in their garden. And we were not disappointet. Great food, fair prices and above all excellent service. The young woman who served us was not only professionel but had humour and an easy smile. A great stop for lunch or dinner. If you don't stay there!
4 friends for a light lunch.Staff are pleasant enough but, even though the place was only half full I wouldn't say staff were quick off the mark.I opted for a currywurst with chips and was rather disappointed; the wurst had been chopped prior to cooking and I seriously doubt it had been grilled. I would go as far as saying I suspect it had been fried or - horror of horrors - microwaved. The curry sauce was less curry than tangy; a simple sauce from a bottle. I wouldnt have it again.Even as a smoker, I found allowing smoking indoors where people eat a little off-putting.The Ephesus is one of the few places you can get a daytime snack in Kirchberg and I think the lack of competition has led to complacency. No doubt it is a lively bar in the evenings, but I would look elsewhere first for a light bite.
