Tried this restaurant because of the trip advisor reviews and very disappointed. The chicken Thai noodle salad was pretty awful. I didnât eat it. My husband had a chicken sandwich that was very basic and over priced. Something I wouldâve put together at home in two minutes. Too bad because the setting is nice.

I've driven by Country Brooke on my way to the barn I ride at and it's always been busy. We couldn't think of anyplace good to go to today so we took a shot.When we arrived at 9:30 there were people waiting (normal). The bar was empty so we took two seats and immediately every other chair was taken.We waited a few minutes for menus. We watched one of the couples who sat at the bar get up and leave (we assume because of the wait). We ordered coffee and I asked about a mimosa (they weren't listed on the menu but they do serve them). We got our coffees no mimosa. Waited a little while and gave our order. Still no mimosa, soni asked again. Girl was apologetic because she had forgotten. But I got it, no problem. We overheard some people complaining they're short staffed and slow so we figured that was the cause of everything. Group next to us complained no one came to refill coffees, etc. We didn't mind, it wasn't a big deal.We chatted with one waitress and she was great. Our food came and she snuck us an extra side of their sausage gravy (which is amazing). We both had the cheddar biscuits with poached eggs and gravy. It was just heaven. One of my eggs was overcooked and not runny at all but I really don't mind that actually. Took a few to get our bill after that and the group next to us was just about getting their food.So food is excellent. Staff is nice. Maybe they just need more help? It was slow service but not bad service. Who needs to rush breakfast anyway?

Service was excellent, exactly what I would hope for from a local NH diner. Food was good and price was extremely reasonable. Our waitress catered to our needs and even replaced our daughters pancake, free of charge, when it fell on the floor. Great home like atmosphere and the train station memorabilia was fun and unique.

Not just another eggs and toast cafe. Instead intriguing daily dishes, coffee, gluten free muffins and soup.We friended them and get daily menu specials.Yesterday was just coffee and soup. Six choices of coffee and the soup was lobster bisque.Great morning sandwiches ready to go.
