I really welcomed the idea of a cafe with some live jazz music, but reality is somewhat different. We went there on a Wednesday night when they have live music. It was a duo - a guy with electric guitar and a girl singing. The girl sang really well and it was really pleasant, but by no means was it jazz. But a very pleasant experience anyway. Unfortunately it was spoiled with not-so-good food. I ordered a steak, and I got TWO t-bone steaks (a lot of meat!) on a plate with mashed potato that looked and tasted like as if it was from a packet. But the main thing: I don't think the steaks were fried or grilled at all but I suspect they were boiled in water. There were no signs of frying and the taste was - well, a taste of boiled meat. And drenched in garlic to the extent that all you could taste was garlic, not the meat. I tasted the meat a bit and couldn't finish it. That has happened to me never before. The sandwich that my wife has wasn't much better, but at least we were able to finish it (we shared it after I couldn't eat my steaks). The milk shakes and smoothies we had were good, though. So maybe go there and enjoy the music and some milk shakes?Dear Sakari K,Greetings from JAZZ Cafe, Khartoum.Thank you for taking time to write a review on us. Soak up panoramic views of the city by day with a coffee or cool drink in our skyline café. Linger after dusk in the buzzing main space or retire to a quieter adjoining room as the capital's lights twinkle below.
I arrived early for dinner at Rickshaw and decided to just hang out and have a snack at the Cafe. The environment was quite enjoyable and the service impeccable. The only downside is that they don't have wifi, which surprised me.Dear Guest,Thank you for using Café Khartoum. We are glad you enjoyed the atmosphere and found the service impeccable.
