Located within Bill Baggs State Park, we invite you to come and experience the real Florida! Lighthouse Cafe first opened its doors in 1995 and quickly became a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike. Nothing is more important to us than the satisfac
Less famous and less popular than its twin eatery in Bill Baggs park, Boaters, the Lighthouse cafe delivers on an agreeable setting, decent service, an interesting menu, a pretty good kitchen and a range of cold drinks (no draft beer). Oh, and it's where the park wardens, armed and armoured (Glocks or the equivalent and Kevlar) in case of rampant iguanas I presume, hang out. And, it's near the beach. The view is not as spectacular as No Name Harbor but you can glimpse the sea through the dunes even at deck level. The tendency towards fried food is similar to Boaters but the touch seems to be lighter and, of course, you can always work around the menu for something a little healthier though the temptation to go with tostones and black bean soup was too much in my case.

We wanted to try something different while out and about, and settled on Patagonia. The prices were around $9-$10 on average; the empanadas were $2.50 each. I had some chicken empanadas, and some ham-and-cheese empanadas. They were both absolutely delicious! My wife and son also really enjoyed their sandwiches! We debated getting dessert, but decided against it. Gotta have a reason to go back, y'know?Thank you for your visit Mathdaddy!

My family and I often pick up food to go from Oasis. Food has always been consistently good. The value for what you get is also really good. We have pretty much tried almost everything. I love the Lechon! It's the best, super juicy and lots of yummy sauce to soak it in or put on your rice. The plantains are also very good as well as the arroz con gris. At times the food can be a bit salty, but nothing to complain about.

Chocolate couissant was delicious as was the eggplant parmigiana for lunch. Sandwiches are good. Chairs are uncomfortable.
