Honestly, I donât get why this place was rated so highly. Itâs a very average restaurant with medeocre food. The only highlight was the very friendly waitress/receptionist. The Mousaka had more potatoes and cheese than eggplant and had very little flavour. The Greek salad was reasonable, although we had a lot better. The mocktails Magarita had way too much salt in it (even without the salty rim) and too much cucumber.. The bread was the typical German sour bread. Not my fav..The waitress however made up for a lot. Really trying her best and very helpful. Itâs part of a hotel. There is an outside terrace but when we asked to eat, they showed us the inside (very old fashioned/ traditional). We were also almost the only ones eating here.. which ussually isnât a good sign.Dear Mrs. Julia,Thank you for taking the time to review us in TripAdvisor. It is always important to receive our guests' feedback in order for us to improve.Just for the sake of objectivity, please allow me to get back to you on a few issues that require clarification for the our future guests.1) Regarding the mousaka, please note that there was no cheese at all. As far as the potatoes are concerned I admit that there are two types of mousaka. One just with eggplant and one with potatoes as well (equally layered). I suggest you ask whether there are potatoes inside in case you do not prefer this way of cooking.2) The greek salad was made with bio vegetables from our garden and I am really sorry you did not enjoy it as much.3) Regarding the mocktail, since you ordered a virgin "cucumber margarita", I believe you had to expect the salt, which by the way was only placed at the rim and not in the recipe. Nevertheless it's all about taste and flavour. Exactly the same like you do not agree with the rest of our guests that have rated us highly. By the way our restaurant has not yet fulfilled its first month and we are still in a tasting period, so we hope to see you again in order to have the chance to improve your opinion regarding Thymeli Food+Drinks. I forgot to mention that it was raining yesterday that is why the team suggested you to stay in. :-)Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Greece.Best Regards,Stella
We saw a recommendetion here about this place, we orderd special pizza, milkshake and breakfast. the pizza was frozen!!!!! the breakfast was small toast, cold boiled egg and chips (from a bag) with ketchup. the milkshake was terrible.

Had an interesting meal at Taverna Vavitas. On a cold spring day we were greeted by a roaring log fire. Fantastic. Sady the red wine we ordered was retrieved from an ouside location was wonderfully and severly chilled!! That said the food was plentiful if not anything out of the usual. The beetroot salad contained nothing but a mountain of the red vegetable and a small amount of onion! I love beetroot, but even i struggled to eat it all and that was only my starter. I ordered Village Sausage and was served with a mountain of chips and 4 Full Length Sausages. My wife had beef in tomato and promptly relocated a large 'chunk' onto my plate, not because she was generous, just so she could try and eat what remained on her plate. (She failed!)Well worth a visit but stick to 1 course, unless you really are a big eater and have white wine or beer!!I recommend

Qastiro is located on the old Kastraki square, up on the hill. It is a brand new venue, build in a traditional way resembling a classic livingroom. It's warm and welcoming and set to make you feel like home. One can sit by the fireplace and enjoy the stun
