We bake everything in house from scratch! Our menu daily includes: edible cookie dough, cupcakes, macarons, cookies, cookie sandwiches, frosting shots, cake balls, and Bliss for Pups. We also make cakes and cookie cakes to order.
My daughter and two young granddaughters stopped in for dessert one weekday night. The place was quiet and seemed empty, with us as the only customers. There were two people working the small counter, which seemed like too many. One could've handled it. Flavor choices were interesting (s'mores, red velvet, chocolate peanut butter cupcakes) but were WAY TOO SWEET with frosting nearly as big as the cake part. Hard to eat without getting frosting in your nose. The cupcakes were okay but I felt sad after eating mine, because I indulged in the calories but didn't get the flavor value I expected.Honestly, this place seems like a small-time operation that is just getting off the ground or just about to close up shop. Not a huge selection of cupcakes. Small storefront. Nice enough people but very "homemade" feeling, not in a good way. Cupcakes could be bigger for the price of more than $2 each.We always feel it's better to be overstaffed than under so that you get excellent customer service. Same with our frosting... you can always scrape some off but don't want you to be short. ;) We are locally opened and operated but are a state wide franchise. We appreciate your feedback! We always order the same, a tall vanilla latte plus a decaf coffee. The decaf is almost always the same at any Starbuck's location however the latte is not. I cannot believe how many different "concoctions" one finds when ordering this very simple coffee and milk hot drink. I do not understand why the employees cannot stick to the same recipe. OH YES--I do know. They are always in a hurry and the percentages of each liquids are far from being the same at each location. I will give the make of my latter a 9 at this location. Not the best but far from being the worst.
They have both grilled and cold sandwiches. I've only tried the grilled. I had a Lobolly which is turkey, bacon, cheddar, green apples and dijon mustard, It was really good. They do a lot of samples at different times and we had a sample of a smoothie with beets. It was different. You have options of fruit or chips. No sodas in this joint. They have a bunch of other beverages or complimentary water. They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. They are also willing to change things like you want. They were very friendly. There is also a kid's menu.
