Inverurie /ɪn.vəˈrʊəri/ (Scottish Gaelic: Inbhir Uraidh or Inbhir Uaraidh, "mouth of the River Ury") is a Royal Burgh and town in Aberdeenshire, Scotland at the confluence of the rivers Ury and Don, about 16 miles (26 km) north west of Aberdeen on the A96 road and is served by Inverurie railway station on the Aberdeen to Inverness Line. The nearest airport is Aberdeen Airport at Dyce.

Had baked potato which was tiny and came with a huge portion of crisps and tiny bit of salad some cheap tasting very small prawns and a dollop of very thick looking coleslaw . Edible but just! My daughter had a sandwich which had 2 thick slices of dry white bread . We had a soft download each and cost just under £18! When i am in Inverurie i always try to pop into the shop. They have some very nice gifts but i always get an ice cream. They have a selection of different flavours and the staff are always really nice.

Iâve visited cafe 83 on numerous occasions for breakfast, lunch with my children and also in the evenings for tapas with my husband and friends. Every visit has been brilliant. The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The caramac cheesecake is to die for

Visited recently for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The food tastes just like home produced food and at very reasonable price. There are two eating areas, one inside the main building and the other in an attached conservatory. We sat in the conservatory on a sunny day and even with the windows open, found it too hot. The service was fairly good. I believe the staff to be a husband and wife team with some support from younger staff. I tried to chat to the staff on a couple of occasions and found the guy not too entertaining of conversation which was a shame, he certainly was not as welcoming as the other staff. I am being picky! Will I be going back? Definitely and soon I hope.

Visited with work colleagues for lunch. The food and service were both excellent.Locally sourced and grown products lovingly and carefully prepared. Very good value and with a portion size that is just right.It is also a project to help people with Learning Disabilities into work. They receive very good training as service is faultless.Thoroughly worth checking out.

Unfortunately, we were en route from Aberdeen to Inverness by train and were short of time so we decided on the take out ice cream cones......outcome was.....sublime, tasty, mouth-watering, value for money.....take your pick.

When visiting Inverurie we chose here to have a coffee break. We both had Americano coffees and apple & cinnamon scones. The coffee was ok but a bit weak for my liking, the scones were heated and served with butter & jam - they were really tasty. The restaurant was spotless clean as was the toilets. The service was good and the staff were pleasant.The jewellery shop is really good too.There is car parking close by which is free for the first 30 mins which was ok for us just having a coffee break.Thanks for your thoughts. Glad you enjoyed your visit apart from the coffee. Next time your in Sinclairs ask for a double shot as I'm sure that will be more to your taste. Ian Sinclair.

We came across this gem quite by chance and looked in .The place is full of atmosphere and very busy.Luckily we got a table and enjoyed a superb Victoria sponge and a rhubarb and ginger cake. Beautiful home baking no wonder if is busy it is well off the beaten track but well worth it.Lovely friendly staff, if you are in the area ,drop in you will not regret it. The tearoom is open from Wednesdays to Sundays.......from 10.00 to 16.00
