We have had many meals here, the surroundings are a little basic, it is just a cafe, but itâs scrupulously clean, well fitted, with an extensive menu from toast to roast dinners. We have tried most of the menu and have never had a poor meal, the staff are friendly and efficient and the prices very reasonable
Olmo Lounge is a home from home in Huntingdon serving delicious food all day, every day.
Popped in for breakfast (second visit). Lovely decor, if a little dark as struggled to read menu. Delightful staff. Unfortunately on both occasions the breakfasts were luke warm which makes me think that the food is cooked in advance and kept warm. I ordered a sausage sandwich and when the waiter collected the food from the kitchen the chef had done a bacon sandwich instead but this was changed to a sausage sandwich immediately, so obviously not cooked fresh. Evening Kerry, I am so sorry to hear about your experience. all of our food is cooked fresh, so we must of had sausages on the go already so we were able to get your sausage sandwich out swiftly. we are glad you loved the decor and staff :) We do hope you come back and visit us again soon.Hannah

Itâs definitely popular with the locals and stays crowded. If the food only matched the service and quickness the restaurant would be great. I had the fish and chips and my wife had a breakfast platter with chips, toast, sausage and an egg. My fish without the breading was great, the breading was greasy and had no flavor. My wifeâs was average but had a ton of chips! The chips in both plates were just okay. The menu is extensive and Iâm sure there are better items to select.

I go here alot and never remember to rate this place! I go here some mornings with my mum and It feels like home. The staff are a bit like a little family, always welcoming with smiles. The food always comes hot and the tea comes in a full pot! This place is very good value for money. Love it.

Well, what a surprise - a delightful and certainly distinctive, even quirky, cafe on the main road in Godmanchester, with a piano taking pride of place beside the till and counter, classical music playing in the background, and music-themed artefacts and posters and photos on the walls. The food's excellent too: Jenny had a fine brunch with a really tasty bubble and squeak and eggs, bacon, mushrooms and more, while I settled for a delicious and generously-filled egg mayo sandwich with side salad. The menu is appealing and a bit different, the prices are reasonable, and it's got a delightful chilled atmosphere. We hope it does well - it's a bit different from your regular cafe, but there were a number of other customers there so we hope it's popular, and it's on a regular route for us so we'll be able to come here again. Recommended.

A friend and I visited Huntingdon as itâs the half way point between where we both love and we were looking for a place to have lunch and catch up and spend a few hours chatting. We both had the pancakes with bacon although we had to ask for it to be crispy? You would think it would be standard the food was delicious and well priced, only only minor criticism was the service, there were many young girls working and it felt like they were more interested in chatting than serving or engaging with the customers. Itâs worth a visit as the food is good and unless you fancy a chain restaurant or a pub the town centre has limited options. However it feels more of a grab lunch and go place rather than a place to have a leisurely lunch and a chat.

We visited the tea rooms at lunch time and found the food good but a little expensive for the portion size. The service , however, was good and the staff polite. The tables in the downstairs area are very close together and it is difficult to get around them.
