Nice friendly and traditional tea rooms offering a great range of drinks and food - the smell of bacon pervades the seating area in the morning and makes you hungry! Outdoor tea garden up a ramp and some steps behind the building. It's only a small place but welcomes ramblers and dogs - free car park 150 yards up the road. Nice cuppa! Call and try it.

Family run farm shop cafe serving home and locally produced home made food.
Came across this as I was returning to Nottingham after a meeting in Huddersfield. Asked for ham sandwich with mustard, and the staff competed to see who could bring me the mustard first - English and French - thanks chaps! Nice salad garnish with peppers, leaves, dressing. Good pot of tea, loose leaves, extra hot water and milk no problem. Cakes looked delicious. Looks like it can be busy, I arrived about 11.45, so a choice of tables.

We've visited "No 11" a number of times since it opened last year and thoroughly enjoyed the food from the varied menu on every occasion. The quality of the decor and furnishing throughout is delightful, as are the staff (Jeannie, Amy and Joy). Pears soap in the bathrooms is an example of the attention to detail in this fine restaurant.Hi David,Thank you so much for your review, see you again soon. Amy

A large restaurant that serves good food. It's dog friendly, which is great, but its popularity means that the service can be a little slow at times. It can be a bit noisy too. So, if you want good food in a busy, bustling environment and you've plenty of time on your hands, then this place is great. However, if you want a quick, quiet meal, then this may not quite be your cup or tea or coffee. Hi Langwith-York,We are delighted that you enjoyed your visit. Thanks you for the review, itâs always good to get useful and constructive feedback. We do get busy during our peak times which can sometimes cause a slight delay depending on how quickly orders come in. We are revising our menu soon and weâll certainly consider speed of service when doing so.All the very best and hope to see you again soon.SOTN

Beautiful cafe set within a victorian arcade in the centre of Huddersfield, very close to the train station. Serving breakfast, all day brunch and a selection of seasonal light lunches. Menu rotates regularly, local suppliers are used and everything is ho
Always have a lovely lunch and coffee at this great place in the Arcade. The staff are always friendly, and they have a really good, different selection of sandwiches, light bites, and meals to choose from. I love to sit out in the arcade and just watch the world go by. Been many times just for coffee and always a lovely atmosphere.

Formerly the Coffeekabin, its only the name that has changed. Epicure bar and kitchen brings together coffee, brunch, lunch, wine, dinner and beer in a comfortable setting. The go to emporium for flavorsome locally sourced foods and artisanal treats. Epic
Wow this place was well worth a visit- the pizzas and burgers are absolutely gorgeous and an absolute bargain on Thursdays where you can get all you can eat pizza, or a main side and drink for £15. The food is fantastic quality and the blue cheese and brisket pizza in particular was a stand-out (and the leftovers tasted just as good the next day). The Brunch menu looks amazing too so we will definitely be back to give this a try

Been coming here for food on a regular basis since it open. The food is consistently good and the ever revolving specials board means there is always something different to try. Only a small place so be prepared to wait during busy times. Only negative for us is the beer on tap. They boast cOMmunity T-shirts and yes they do use a lot of local suppliers but only 1 local brewery. Ditch the Portland, Anchor and Blue Moon and get in some more local brews on a revolving basis from Magic Rock, Beer Ink etc. Thank you for taking the time to review us mattbri, We always appreciate the feedback, we have taken it on board and have reached out to a few local (even more local than magic rock ;)) breweries this week, so watch this space! It's always good to communicate these things with us, or else we never know!We look forward to welcoming you back again and again and again, Big love, Ellie + Alex

We are a family owned business that's proud to be independent. We support local suppliers in the pursuit for fresh and enticing dishes crafted amongst a modern contemporary menu established on the traditional British breakfast and brunch cuisine.
I admit we were a little disappointed to have missed the breakfast cut off time (11am) and we nearly left as a result of this. All I needed was a healthy potion of bacon and eggs and was faced with menu choices that didn't appeal. Slightly put out I ordered the pancakes and waited. During this time my order of tea came and whilst I like my tea fairly weak it was exceptionally weak and stirring the tea bag didn't make a difference. It was at this point I discovered I had no tea and merely hot water. The staff apologised repeatedly whilst I laughed...a lot. The pancakes then arrived and wow what can I say. Huge generous portion, very tasty and absolutely top notch. Asked if I got them free if I managed to eat them all I was told no but with a smile. It became a battle of whether I would eat them all, the pancakes would win or I would call for help. The pancakes won! Highly recommended and very good but that's a serious portion. Joking aside we have been here a few times and it's always very good. Both food and service is great and if you've not been you must. Book ahead though.
