We were staying at the Kona Seaside Hotel and wanted to grab some coffee one morning on the way to "King Kam" beach and found this little shop right next to Splasher's--man am I glad we did! I tried the Mac Nut Latte and I'm still having cravings for it. It seems to be a little "mom and pop shop" but they were very friendly every time we went in (which was about 10 times during our week stay). I highly recommend their coffee, which is real Kona coffee. I also highly recommend their acai bowl, which is similar to a smoothie bowl but it was so fresh. It was the most refreshing breakfast to eat on the beach and watch the sunrise!!I never tried their Shave Ice, but they had quite a few selections to choose from, and they gave heaping portions.

So glad we stopped to check out this place for breakfast! The food is homemade, delicious and authentic. The lilikoi syrup and coconut whipped cream werre delicious. Friendly staff and great 100% Kona coffee. Only problem is that they open at 8:00 and only certain days during the week - if you are an early bird you may be out of luck.

Magics is dynamic, vibrant, and community oriented. Walking into the restaurant is like being transported into the ocean itself, beautiful and invigorating, with a priceless view. Weâre more than just a restaurant, our passion for our island, fresh flavor
This restaurant is located in the building where we rented a condo, so very convenient, especially after a few cocktails. Sits right on the ocean, with views of beautiful sunsets. Menu is varied with something for everyone. We especially liked the spicy lobster noodle dish and had it twice. Also enjoyed steak frite and bbq ahi tuna. Reasonable prices and good service but the food and location are the stars.

Papa Kona (formerly Daylight Mind Coffee Co.) is a gem! The staff is highly accommodating and serve the most sensational, mouth-watering âpulled porkâ sandwich Iâve ever had. Itâs called the â808 Pork Sandwich. Iâm from North Carolina and was so tickled to see this masterpiece used Carolina sauce! The beach/ocean view is incredible. I just donât know why it is not crowded but quite frankly happy it wasnât. Must be due to itâs locationperimeter of the busy tourist areaa. At any rate, it is truly worth walking past the palace and into the âquieter sideâ. Iâm dreaming of that sandwich!

We enjoyed a quick lunch here on the patio, overlooking the water with great service. We split the Big Island salad and the Big Island pizza and both were fresh and delicious. We've reached out to you in a private message to thank you for taking the time to write this review. We look forward to speaking with you more!

Stopped in for breakfast... very good, local food. Wasnât sure about the presentation because Iâm picky about my food touching. It was awesome though. Husband had the breakfast for champions .... he enjoyed it. Apparently Vienna sausages and spam is a thing ... he tried it and was pleased.

My husband and I were so surprised to find a French restaurant in Hawaii that we just had to check it out. Turned out to be absolutely delicious and we actually went back the very next morning for breakfast! The lovely Frenchwoman we spoke with (whom I assume was the owner) even remembered us and kindly welcomed us back. I especially enjoyed their croque madame and the Oh Là Là crepe. Please do yourself a favor--take a break from the loco mocos and shave ice and try this place out. C'était vraiment délicieux!
